  1. 'A dominant Derby display'published at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 15 November 2022

    Derby 3-0 Torquay

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You'd think that'll be game, set, match now for Derby.

It's great play from Will Osula and quick feet, with an inch-perfect pass.

Then calmness from Liam Thompson to cut inside and fire the ball into the net.

It's been a dominant display from Derby in this first half - Torquay thought they were getting back into the game but they've been punished by quality.

Weymouth might have lost 10 straight FA Cup replays and sit bottom of National League South with only two wins all season, but the Terras are giving it a real go at AFC Wimbledon.

Xander McBurnie has just skimmed the Dons bar from long range at Plough Lane, where it remains goalless.

Elsewhere Hartlepool's Mo Sylla has headed off target as they seek an equaliser against Solihull.

    Game over?

Fair play, this is RUTHLESS from the Rams.

Will Osula drops deep into midfield and shows a lovely touch to make some space before hitting a wonderful crossfield pass for Liam Thompson to race in at goal from the halfway line.

The youngster then shows great composure to just come inside the backtracking Gulls defender and hammer in a low shot.

Harsh on Torquay who have been the better side for the past 20 minutes but they were wide open at the back and got caught out.

Torquay are having a real go at getting back into this.

Aaron Jarvis wins a corner for the away side after a long throw.

Lucas Ness gets up well to head towards goal and Joe Wildsmith in the Rams net is forced to touch it over the top for another corner.

It comes to nothing this time but those Gulls fans who have made the LONG journey to the East Midlands will be pleased with how their side are battling to find a way into this game.

  5. 'Torquay defending better'published at 20:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 November 2022

    Derby 2-0 Torquay

    Ian Atkins
Former Torquay boss on BBC Radio Devon

In the last 10 minutes Torquay have looked solid.

There are fewer gaps in their back four and they've defended better.

But they can't keep giving away two goal head starts - but we've seen before two goal leads can be a dangerous scoreline.

The Gulls have got the Rams on the rack now!

Aaron Jarvis forces a great block from Joe Wildsmith in the home goal after Dillon de Silva's low cross causes panic.

    Derby 2-0 Torquay

    More Torquay pressure now!

There's still life in this one.

Richard Stearman almost sends a cross into his own net and the away side keep the pressure on after their corner is cleared.

That being said, the National League outfit are WIDE open at the back when the Rams do break.

  8. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Derby 2--0 Torquay

Worth bearing in mind that although Torquay are second from bottom in the National League they've scored more goals than the team in eighth.

It seems a long way back from here but they were 2-0 down in the first tie too and came back to force this replay so... If they can just get the next goal then you never know.

They have men poring forward but Dillon de Silva can't control the ball and the chance goes.

Sorry shock seekers, Tom Blair has missed a sitter for Weymouth, firing over the bar from close range after AFC Wimbledon keeper Nathan Broome could only parry a shot from the edge of the box into his path.

Solihull’s early opener at Hartlepool remains the only goal in tonight’s other four ties.

    Derby 2-0 Torquay

Torquay win a corner after some enterprising play down their left.

It's headed on towards goal and Eiran Cashin has to head it away from his own line for another corner to the non-league side.

They play it back for Shaun Donnellan on the edge of the area but he skews his shot well wide.

Some encouragement for the National League strugglers though.

    Derby 2-0 Torquay

    How's your luck?

Torquay made a decent start to this game and then fell behind to an own goal after just seven minutes.

They recovered well from that blow but were 2-0 down when Denmark Under-19 international Will Osula arrowed a shot in from 18 yards.

Scott Kashket is one of only two Gillingham players in their line-up against AFC Fylde to have scored this season, but after being fouled in the box, he has fired the subsequent penalty the wrong side of the post. Still goalless at Priestfield.

Elsewhere Curzon keeper Chris Renshaw has pulled off a fine save to deny Cambridge’s Lloyd Jones and keep the deadlock intact at the Abbey Stadium.

    Nearly three.

Lewis Dobbin gets in from a ball over the top but his shot is straight at Gulls goalkeeper Mark Halstead.

Elsewhere, Haydon Roberts is forced off for the Rams through injury and Craig Forsyth is on.

  14. 'Osula finished really well'published at 20:03 Greenwich Mean Time 15 November 2022

    Derby 2-0 Torquay

    Eric Steele
Former Derby and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC Radio Derby

You see the strength of David McGoldrick - he held the ball up, controlled it.

Will Osula finished really well - he likes playing against Torquay doesn't he - he hit right through the ball into the bottom corner.

Ah, think that might be that.

Former Republic of Ireland international David McGoldrick gets in behind the Gulls defence down the Rams' inside left.

He gets his head up and tees it up for the on-rushing Sheffield United loanee Will Osula to fire home from 18 yards.

Osula also got a couple in the first tie between these two sides.

It wouldn't be the most seismic of cup shocks, if truth be told, but National League high-flyers Solihull Moors are 1-0 up at League Two strugglers Hartlepool inside 10 minutes through Ryan Barnett.

Elsewhere Nick Haughton has sent an early free-kick narrowly over the bar for AFC Fylde at Gillingham, but there have been no further goals in tonight’s other ties as yet.

  17. 'A terrible error'published at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 15 November 2022

    Derby 1-0 Torquay

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on BBC Three

There's a shake of the head by Gary Johnson as Torquay had started so well.

    It's a sucker-punch.

What a ball in this is and so difficult for Mark Ellis because of the bounce in front of him - he doesn't know what's behind him.

He tries to help it behind but it's a terrible error by such an experienced player.

    Disaster for the non-league side.

Brighton loanee Haydon Roberts gets forward well on the Rams left and swings in a tricky a cross to the back post.

It's probably going to miss his team-mates in the middle but veteran Torquay defender Mark Ellis decides he has to deal with it.

Sadly he gets it all wrong and powers a header into his own net.

    Derby 0-0 Torquay

The away side have not come back here to try and play for extra time.

They win a throw-in in an attacking area and send a load of men up for it.

It's cleared away and Derby have a two on one but Louie Sibley overhits his cross.
