Tomorrow, leaders Burnley are at home to Middlesbrough before a huge tea-time tussle sees third-placed Blackburn travel to Norwich, in fourth.

And then on Monday night, Sheffield United, who begin the weekend second, travel to Wigan.

They remain on the fringes of the play-offs and can climb to fifth with victory tonight.

It would make for a rather jolly Christmas because they’re not back in action until 27 December.

Could be a long period stewing if they slipped up here.

A few times this season Birmingham have threatened more than their current showing of 14th.

A hum-drum 0-0 draw at lowly Blackpool got their season restarted last weekend.

But they’re only five points off the top six and if they can pick up a first win since Guy Fawkes night here, their season will get a timely pick me up.

Naby Sarr is back tonight for the Royals.
