Caroline Weir with an effort on target fails to trouble Nayluisa Caceres.

She carves the opportunity out well but her strike is lacking in venom.

    Kirsty Hanson oh so close!

Brogan Hay came close to her first international goal and so too did Hanson on the follow up. Her close-range effort bounces off the post rather than sneaking in.

It's been a quiet evening from the full-backs.

    Deyna Castellanos

    OH MY WORD!

Manchester City's Castellanos pulls one back for Venezuela in the most incredible fashion.

From within the centre circle, she spots Jenna Fife off her line and lobs an inch-perfect strike towards the top corner, to sink into the net.

An absolute wonder goal leaves Fife helpless.

    A warning shot for Scotland.

Mariana Speckmaier denied a goal for Venezuela with the offside flag up.

A let-off for Scotland, who have failed to find their form of the first-half so far.

    Scotland 2-0 Venezuela

Venezuela threaten for the first time of magnitude, with a defence-splitting pass towards Manchester City's, Deyna Castellanos.

The sting of the attack, though, is numbed by Scotland getting back in their numbers and freezing out Venezuela's key player.
