The message from Alvechurch manager Ian Long will be that they will get an opportunity. In terms of clear-cut opportunities, there hasn't been much at either end.

A penalty that was neatly tucked away by Forest Green's star man Connor Wickham is the difference at the half.

Alvechurch have had some positive spells and look energetic but just a little outmatched at the moment.

Still plenty to play for.

You often think of lower league teams playing the long ball but Alvechurch aren't like that, they like to pass it around and I've been impressed with them so far.
