DeepDarkBlue: Jude Bellingham has loads of talent, fantastic feet and is a thoroughly likeable, balanced young man. Best midfielder in the world? Well that remains to be seen, he'll have a few competitors for sure. Can he make the difference and finally get this England team across the winning line in the big tournaments? That's the real question for me. And as an Irishman, I actually hope so.

  4. Bellingham to Liverpool - will it happen?

    Jude Bellingham

More social media pictures were posted yesterday of Jude Bellingham and the Liverpool duo of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson hanging out together after England's 3-0 win against Senegal.

So, during Monday's live page, we asked if you thought Bellingham would end up playing for the Reds at some point in the near future?

Or would the price tag for the midfielder - which will no doubt rise if he delivers another stellar performance against France - mean he goes elsewhere?

This was a close one, but 1,297 of you went with 'yes, he will end up at Anfield', while 1,223 think the clubs with more pennies in the bank will win Bellingham's signature.

  5. 'An England captain in the making'

England v France (19:00 GMT, Sat)

    Peter Schmeichel

Former Manchester United keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

    .

Jude Bellingham looks like a captain in the making whether that's for England or wherever he goes. He has that kind of character. It's impressive to see players of that age have such an impact at the highest level you can get in football.

My hope for him is that he keeps himself grounded, stays within that personality that he is already building up, do the work, and you will be a world class superstar."

  6. 'Bellingham just gets on with it'

  7. Will Reds be priced out of Bellingham move?

England v France (19:00 GMT, Sat)

    England

ESPN senior writer Mark Ogden, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, on Jude Bellingham's future: "Liverpool seem to be favourites [to sign Bellingham] but the price tag is going up and up. With Liverpool right now, we don't know who the owners are going to be. Are the current regime going to spend what it takes to get Bellingham?

"You do wonder whether a club like Liverpool, who would be a very good fit for Bellingham, might be priced out of the market. The hottest property in football is Kylian Mbappe, but I don't think Jude Bellingham is far behind."

Eye_Said: A performance (not a result) against France will silence critics. For instance, had England gone at Italy [Euros final] but still lost then many critics would have been silenced; the likes of Italy and France can beat anyone, so to lose to them is no big deal. The problem was the ultra-defensive approach. So, well done so far; now give it a real go vs France. Don't worry about defeat - just go for the win.
