Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch has named seven changes following his side's 2-2 draw with West Ham in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Only Pascal Struijk, Brenden Aaronson, Crysencio Summerville and Wilfried Gnonto keep their places in the starting line-up.

The 18-year-old Darko Gyabi is among the players who come in, while Jack Harrison and Rodrigo are among the options from the bench.

Leeds XI: Robles, Firpo, Kristensen, Struijk, Llorente, Gyabi, Greenwood, Aaronson, Summerville, Gelhardt, Gnonto.

Cardiff City manager Mark Hudson has made eight changes after his side lost 1-0 to Blackburn Rovers in the Championship last weekend.

Tom Sang, Jack Simpson and Mark Harris keep their spots. Former Liverpool youth player Sheyi Ojo is among those to come in.

Cardiff City XI: Alnwick, Sang, Nelson, Simpson, Bagan, Rinomhota, Sawyers, Ojo, Philogene, Harris, Davies.

There IS a spot-kick for the home side here, though!

Just moments after Barnsley lost Thomas Edwards to what looked like a really bad injury, they concede a penalty for what looks to be handball in the box. Arms were certainly raised in the box as a cross came in from a corner.

Another big shout for a penalty by Bristol City! Again, it is waved away by the ref!

Robert Atkinson is the man going down after a sliding tackle in the box. No VAR here.

David Wagner has made five changes to the Norwich line-up for his first game in charge, with Tim Krul handed a start between the sticks and Josh Sargent and Ben Gibson among those rested.

Visitors Blackburn go one higher with six changes although top scorer Ben Brereton Diaz is one of the five to retain their place.

Manager Jesse Marsch is desperate to end Leeds United's recent wretched FA Cup record as his side prepare for the third-round visit to Cardiff City.

The Elland Road club have lost at the third-round stage in each of the past five seasons, including shock defeats to Newport County and Crawley Town.

Marsch said he had spoken with chief executive Angus Kinnear on the subject.

"Angus subtly spoke to me last week and said maybe we should focus on having a good FA Cup run," Marsch said.

"I said 'message received'. We believe that a cup run can give us momentum."

The Bluebirds ran out surprise 2-1 winners in 2002 and Marsch, who will be taking charge of his first FA Cup tie, says the impact of that result still resonates two decades on.

"I know the history and we expect Cardiff will be very spirited - but we know 6,000 (Leeds) fans are going, so we want to put the best team we can on the pitch," Marsch added.

Derby continue to pepper the Barnsley box with crosses. The latest is a low one from Jason Knight that Barnsley do well to get back and clear.

It's a well-contested tie, this. Two evenly-matched sides.

Two divisions separate League Two strugglers Hartlepool United from Championship underachievers Stoke City in a tie that screams classic cup shock material.

The FA Cup has not historically been kind to Potters boss Alex Neil, who has lost six of his eight matches in the competition as a manager, winning just one.

Keith Curle's Hartlepool, meanwhile, are bidding to make history by reaching the fourth round in successive seasons for the first time in the club's existence.

They beat Championship opposition in the shape of Blackpool in last year's third round - and Pools have form against Stoke too, having beaten them at this stage in 2009 when the Potters were a Premier League team.

Swansea are just quicker and smarter than Bristol City.

They are shifting the ball at speed, pulling the home side apart. Nigel Pearson needs to fix some serious issues here to try and stem the Swans or they are going to cruise into round four.

David Wagner makes his Norwich City managerial bow today as the German's new charges the Canaries host fellow Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

The former Huddersfield boss - who took the Terriers up to the Premier League in 2017 - was this week named as the successor to the sacked Dean Smith.

He inherits a Norwich side woefully out of form with just three wins in their past 15 games - and who lost 2-0 at home to Blackburn in the league just a few weeks ago.

Jon Dahl Tomasson's Rovers, meanwhile, are bidding to end a pretty rotten recent record in the FA Cup, having been eliminated at the third-round stage in each of the past five seasons.

It gets worse for Bristol City. Tommy Conway is injured and has to depart. Nakhi Wells his replacement.

Wells has plenty of experience at least.

Chance for Derby!

A cross comes in from the left and Lewis Dobbin rises above his marker to plant a header that Jack Walton tips over. Could and probably should have done better.

Bristol City are clinging on here.

They can barely get a kick. And when they do it is largely to give the ball straight back to Swansea.

There is a lot of grumbling from the stands.

After Barnsley came flying out of the blocks, this game has settled down a bit now. The home side have slowed it down and are seeing more of the ball.
