Bowen looks very comfortable and free flowing once West Ham are in possession but when they are out of possession he seems to be limping.

Jarrod Bowen appears to have a knock. Danny Ings is getting warmed up in case.
Decent start to this half for West Ham. Aside from that.

The Toon stuck in second gear, here. This is where the fragility of the squad is showing. No depth. I mean, any team in the world would miss Bruno but we have no real cover, especially with Shelvey now gone. Sean Longstaff is a different sort of midfielder to Guimaraes. Saint-Maximin is a quality player but I don't think he's a Newcastle type player anymore. Joelinton is epic but, again, he's not got that ability to make the transitions so effective that Bruno has. Hey ho..... Second half should be good!

We've looked flat since the 25th minute, not surprised West Ham have equalised... we need to stop sitting on 1-0's. Stage is set for Gordon.

It's been a great first half, not how David Moyes would have wanted to start. Brilliant start by Newcastle, they had the goal disallowed and then immediately went and scored.
West Ham have grown into this game, you've got to given them a lot of credit. On the balance of play, possession wise it's been very very fair and even.
On the balance of play it has been very even. On the opportunities on goal, you would say that West Ham have had the better of it.

Maxi so frustrating, can dribble and be very dynamic but just waits for the ball to come to him leading to interceptions and seems to take longer to get up than my 86yr old granny when he hits the deck, which appears to be every 30 seconds or so. Get up and get on with the game.
Chris, Newcastle
What does Saint-Maximin do besides run? He doesn’t score many and he doesn’t set many up. West Ham are the better team here so far after that poor start.

FT: Brentford 3-0 Southampton
Southampton manager Nathan Jones to BBC MOTD: "I'm really, really disappointed. First of all I'm disappointed for the fans. The biggest thing for me and I want to be brutally honest with this, I have let the players down.
"I have let the players down because I came into this club to do a job, I was recruited to do certain things and I don't see my team in there. I have pandered a little bit, I have gone away and tried to accommodate what we have. I haven't really put my own stamp on it and I should've by now, I really should have.
"I was recruited to do a certain job, to play in a certain way because my teams did really well. We defended the box, we were aggressive, front-footed, we put teams under pressure, we pressed, we counter-pressed really well. Statistically there weren't many better than me.
"I've come here and gone away from that. I've got to get back to doing what we do really well. I won games and I've gone away from that. Whoever we played we'd go after teams. I'm not seeing that in my team now.
"I blame myself. I should be driving the standards. Everywhere I've been I've drove standards, I haven't let anyone get away with anything. I've been on top of everyone. I've maybe got carried away that these are Premier League players and you have to give them this and that, but no more. Now I have to go back and to be me because that's not good enough.
"The manager drives standards, I took plenty of accolades at my previous clubs and manager of the year and statistically one of the best in the country one of the most aggressive managers. On an absolute shoestring by the way. Pound for pound there wasn't anyone else in the country competing like we did in terms of points per pound.
"I've gone away from that and I'm saddened. I should never have gone away from that.
"I've allowed certain things to happen, but that won't happen anymore."
"I've tried to give people what they want, I've tried to really work with the players to give them a system that suits them. But it doesn't suit me. It hasn't suited me as a manager or why I was recruited to come here."
"I was recruited to be aggressive and on the front foot and we're not that and that's where we need to get."
FT: Brighton 1-0 Bournemouth
Bournemouth
Bournemouth manager Gary O'Neil, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "It was a good performance. We should have had a penalty, but I don’t want to mention it too much - I’ve complained a lot about us not being awarded stuff.
"What the boys showed today against a Brighton side flying high in the league – we gave them a really tough game. They had the ball for large spells, but on chances I thought we gave them a really good run.
"We should have had a penalty in the second half as a well."
FT: Wolves 3-0 Liverpool
Wolves
Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui speaking to BBC MOTD: "Happy of course. Overall about the win, we need wins to achieve our aim and today we played a very good team. I think in the first half we overcame then, scored two goals, sometimes you overcome the opponent but don't score and in the second half they overcame us. We suffered a lot in the first 20-25 minutes. We recovered then after we changed some things, we get a very good score for us, a very good win for us.
"Against these kind of teams you have to be very close to perfection if not you don't score and sometimes it's not enough. We try to defend well, be aggressive and match them with the ball. It's not easy, it's easier if you score quickly as we did today but in the end they are three points. We haven't done anything yet, we have hard work ahead of us, the injury was a pity with Hwang Hee-Chan but after we will try to be ready for the next match.
"I want to highlight the team in general. They have played in a very good way and we tried to match Liverpool. We suffered when we had to, playing against one of the best teams. We are happy today."
On new signings: "It's not easy for them, they arrived 10 days ago but they are our players now and have the opportunity to play. I want to highlight the attitude and environment of the dressing room. It's very important, today we have the injury of Hee-Chan so we have one less player so all the players have to be ready.
"Today we are happy for three points. A good win and now we have to think of the next game.
"Always when you win it's a good feeling, you have to be ready to go towards the next game with energy when you win and lose. We have to win and it's going to be a long and hard race until the end. Today we are happy, tomorrow we are working."
FT: Brighton 1-0 Bournemouth
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton manager Roberto de Zerbi, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "We deserved to win, for sure. We Made some mistakes in the last past, but it was one of the best games in my time [here]. We didn’t play a lot of important players. I’m very happy."
On Kaoru Mitoma: "He is a great player. He has a natural quality. I think today he didn’t play a fantastic game, like against Liverpool or Leicester, but when you have Mitoma on the pitch you can never substitute him because you always expect one goal."
On Moises Caicedo's reception: "[The fans] are the 12th player on the pitch. The player knows this. We are stronger with our fans."
FT: Wolves 3-0 Liverpool
Wolves
Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui to PLP: "We are happy of course. We achieve our aim which was to have the three points. It was important for us in front of fans. We played against a very good team. I think we overcame them in the first half. We scored the goals which was important. In the first 20 minutes of the second half we suffered a lot which we knew would happen but we were ready. We had the control, not with the ball, but of the match and we got the third goal so we're happy with this win.
"This is football. It's not possible to explain everything that happens in football but we deserved to score. This is important of course. I want to highlight the clean sheet because that is key in football. They had chances so we are happy as we deserved to win and we did."
On Craig Dawson and Pablo Sarabia's debuts: "They arrived 10 days ago and they have the possibility to help us. That's important. I want to highlight the dressing room. This was a task from all the players and we will need this in the next matches."
On Hwang Hee-Chan's injury: "It's a pity for us because he has a hamstring injury. We don't know how long he will be out. He understands everything tactically but that is why we have a good squad and will choose other players.
"This is our job. Today we will be happy but I will repeat a lot of times that it will be a long and hard race and we need to have energy until the end."
Aston Villa 2-4 Leicester
Aston Villa
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery: "We had mistakes today, Leicester were at the bottom of the table but they have very good players and we gave them chances.
"We had good moments, created chances but our mistakes were really big mistakes. We will keep going in our way, the process sometimes has you winning and today we created more chances than before but we lost.
"At 1-0 we were well but we lost our confidence a bit when they scored."
FT: Man Utd 2-1 Crystal Palace
Manchester United
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "When you have 10 after a player is sent off and it is quickly 2-1, you have to hold on for the win. The first 70 minutes was all ours, we dominated the game. A big compliment for the team, we played with a lot of energy and really well in possession and defence transition. In the last 20 minutes we showed we can fight and have team spirit."
On Casemiro's red card: "Such things must not happen on the pitch. It starts with a bad foul. He could have injured the player. It is a big risk. It is emotions getting up and both sides, this happens a lot with players pushing each other and also protecting each other. Casemiro was protecting the player to go into attack. Obviously he is sent off and we are totally unhappy with that situation. He takes a risk, we all see that. He can't get away with that. But for me it is the inconsistency. At Palace two weeks ago there was an elbow and VAR is not interfering. And in this situation he could have sent off more players. Be consistent and everyone who crosses the line is sent off, not just one player. It is hard when a team-mate can get injured. Like last week, we lose Christian Eriksen to a really bad foul. The team stand for each other and you need that to get results and be successful."
On Marcel Sabitzer: "He came in, he played really well. He understands the game and it is good to see."
FT: Man Utd 2-1 Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira, speaking to BBC Match of the Day: "The way we started the game, we are a little bit frustrated. We conceded the penalty and we managed to get into the game, the more the game was growing. We got involved. We finished the game with a couple of situations where we could have got that second goal. That is the way it is. There are a lot of positives to take away."
On Casemiro's red card: "I was too far away to see it. I don't want to get involved in that [on why he had his own conversation with the referee]. I don't want to get fined or suspended, so I will wait for your next question."
On the performance: "We knew how tough this game was going to be because of how they play the game. But we managed to get involved and create chances and again we grew into the game. I believe there was a place to score the second goal and take a point. We showed character and I was pleased with the personality we showed and we will take a lot of positives.
"We have to repeat these performances, take chances and score goals. We create chances but we have to be more ruthless in front of goal. The difficulty is always to put the ball in the net. We have to keep being demanding and we will turn things around."

It's fair to say Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is not happy about how the melee that led to Casemiro's red card was handled by referee Andre Marriner.
"I see two teams fighting each other, I see two teams of players crossing the line and one player gets picked out and sent off. That's not right.
"One of the players who did even worse than Casemiro."
Ten Hag said he agreed with the view that Jordan Ayew also grabbed someone by the neck with more force than Casemiro and should have been sent off.
