    Sheff Utd 0-0 Wrexham

Every team should have someone with a ridiculous long throw. Wrexham have Ben Tozer and he launches a couple into the Sheffield United box. They do cause a bit of a panic, but Sheffield Untied deal with the danger.

  2. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:50 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

We're getting back under way in tonight's games. Wouldn't say no to a few goals around the games to eliminate the chance of extra time.

It's going according to plan for Phil Parkinson. He rested three or four of his big players and he can still bring them on.

I think his game plan is going right on cue.

As for Sheffield United, they will be disappointed. Especially the McAtee chance, it was a golden opportunity. They've dominated but they haven't been clinical in the final third.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Burnley 1-1 Ipswich

We had two goals in the first two minutes but nothing since.

    All square at the break.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Grimsby 3-0 Luton

And then the whistle goes for half time. A brilliant first-half from the hosts.

GOAL - Grimsby 3-0 Lutonpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Danny Amos

A third for Grimsby! What a performance by the League Two side.

Danny Amos makes it 3-0 on the stroke of half time from a free kick and Luton have it all to do in the second half.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Fleetwood 0-0 Sheff Wed

No goals so far but both sides have had chances.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Wrexham

Wrexham finish the half by defending a couple of Sheffield United corners.

Goalless at the break and the non league side will be very happy with that, but the hosts were guilty of missing some really good chances.

Jacob Mendy speeds past his marker down the left and gets a really good cross into the box. He's not far off finding Paul Mullin but the Sheffield United defence is able to head away first.

A minute to go until half time.

    Burnley 1-1 Ipswich

Really nice play from Ipswich as George Hirst chests the ball down for Marcus Harness to get a shot off but his fierce effort is just wide.

Egan is good in the air, it was a good ball from Osborn and he jumps too early. As the ball comes in, he is coming down and he mistimed the header.

  12. CLOSE!published at 20:25 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Sheff Utd 0-0 Wrexham

Sheffield United are missing some real chances as another corner finds John Egan's head but he again sends it over.

Can Wrexham capitalise on all these missed opportunities from the hosts?

Inches away from the opener for Sheffield Wednesday as Lee Gregory rattles the bar.

    So close.

Ahmedhodzic should be scoring but credit Lainton because he makes a great save.

He is having one of those games where he is not the number one but he is saying to Phil Parkinson, 'this is what I can do.'

He's doing it at a big Championship ground as well.

  15. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Superb save by Rob Lainton!

the ball is worked to Anel Ahmedhodzic inside the area and he launches a powerful effort at goal from eight yards out but somehow Lainton makes the block.

The pressure is mounting now, though.

The disappointment for Paul Heckingbottom will be in the final third with the decision making, they are not being clinical enough.

You could come back to rue these chances.

  17. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

    Fleetwood 0-0 Sheff Wed

More good play from Fleetwood as Phoenix Patterson curls an effort just wide of goal. The home side have had all the best chances so far.

Wrexham are growing in to it. Sheffield United had a spell and you have to score in those moments.

They are still having a spell but Wrexham are getting confident now and they are growing into it and believing.

  19. Postpublished at 20:18 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February 2023

Ipswich are holding their own against the Championship leaders and have the opportunity to take the lead but George Edmundson puts his header wide.

    It's a good opportunity.

Once McAtee gets into that position and decided not to pass to Ndiaye, he has to score. I would be going mad!

Not inches wide, it is well wide.
