Marcus Rashford gets the ball on the left and cuts inside before drilling in a low shot from nearly the same spot Wilfried Gnonto scored from. Unlike Gnonto's effort this one goes wide.

This is clearly a superb scoreline for Leeds.

However, the teams around them at the bottom of the league probably can't believe it.

Leeds are moving up to 15th as it stands, leapfrogging West Ham and Wolves, who both had excellent results last weekend.

Manchester United fans think Luke Ayling handled the ball to cut out a long ball forward but officials say no. Not the thing of thing VAR checks.

    Raphael Varane own goal

    Leeds do it again!

Alejandro Garnacho loses the ball as he tries to start a counter-attack and Wilfried Gnonto feeds Crysencio Summerville.

He hammers a ball across the six-yard box which Raphael Varane deflects in. A goal or an own goal? We'll see - but the important thing is it's 2-0.

Roger: We all know how this ends. Seen it all before. 2-1 United last minute winner.

Simon: Sometimes I think ETH will be the reason United stagnate. Weghorst has been anonymous for a few games but still has #9 to himself. Rashford brilliant from the left, shunted to the right for Garnacho, same as Fred. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Sho: Weghorst has to come off for Sancho, put Rashford up front. No balance in the attack whatsoever.

There was a VAR check for the Wilfried Gnonto first-minute goal as Patrick Bamford was very close to be offside - but he was on.

It is the first time Leeds have led at half-time in a league game at Old Trafford since August 1991.

They deserve that for the way they started and then defended with a bit of organisation and a lot of determination.

I wonder if Erik ten Hag will switch Marcus Rashford to the left for the second half.

Alexander: Who is the better bargain - Leeds' Willy Gnonto or Brighton's Kaoru Mitoma?

Kiefer: A ‘new manager bounce’ shows just how easy players these days down tools

Robin: It’s Garnacho OR Rashford for me on the left wing. The wings aren’t offering enough defensively and look very unbalanced right now
