    Clare Gemmell
Former Rangers captain on BBC Alba

It's so disappointing that they've lost that goal at the end after a much better second half display.

It's hit hard and low, but it is Jenna Fife's side.

A much-improved second half performance, but Scotland will be frustrated to concede right at the end.

    Rachel Corsie

    She couldn't miss!

Caroline Weir's delivery is right on the money, the Philippines defence don't deal with it, and Rachel Corsie is all alone in the six-yard box to nudge it home.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February 2023

    Scotland 1-0 Philippines

The players head for the sheds after an incredibly underwhelming first half.

Scotland lead though through Lauren Davidson's deflected effort, but that level of performance isn't good enough.

Plenty of tidy possession, but no real cutting edge.

    Scotland 1-0 Philippines

A massive chance for Philippines to hit back immediately, but it goes begging.

Scotland's defence gets dragged over to the left-hand side, leaving acres of space for Tahnai Annis to drive into.

However, the ball slides under the Philippine captain's foot as she bears down on goal.

    It comes from nothing really.

She drives inside and takes the shot early. Scotland need to take confidence from this.

    Lauren Davidson

    A shot, and a goal!

It's Lauren Davidson's first goal for Scotland, and boy did this game need that.

She cuts inside from the right wing, and fires a shot towards the Philippines goal. It takes a wicked deflection and flies into the back of Olivia McDaniel's goal.
