The West Ham fans get to cheer, and go crazy, twice for the same goal. Firstly when Said Benrahma's wonderful strike flies into the top corner and then again when a VAR decision confirms the goal.

Manchester United players wanted a throw-in, saying Tomas Soucek had not kept it in play and some of them stopped before Benrahma fired past David de Gea.

The goal came just after a huge chance for the home side.

Casemiro, on as a half-time substitute for Scott McTominay, nearly made an instant impact by sliding the ball through to Wout Weghorst but the Dutchman, on loan from Burnley and with only one goal in 12 matches, can't keep the shot down.

It proved to be a costly miss but there's still 35 minutes left, and the prospect of Marcus Rashford to now come on, to give the home fans hope.

Rashford, with 17 goals in 19 games since the end of the World Cup, understandably, gets a great reaction as he jogs on to the pitch.

The minutes are ticking away at Turf Moor and both sides have made several changes. Fleetwood, down to 10 men, are standing firm and it's been a strong second half from them. Burnley have done everything but score.

And that West Ham goal is the cue for Marcus Rashford to get ready.

If anyone has deserved a goal then it is him, he is the only player who looks like he has had an end product. He has been laying on chances for everyone else and he probably thinks "forget that, I'll do it myself."

Free-kick to Saints in a good position out wide. James Ward-Prowse is standing over but it's well defended.

Moments later John McAtee is clean through with only the keeper to beat to put Grimsby 3-1 up.

It's a huge chance but he cannot get his shot away as Alex McCarthy saves at his feet.

Marcel Sabitzer and Bruno Fernandes play intricate, one-touch football on the edge of the box and it almost comes off.

Sabitzer flicks it over the top to Fernandes eventually but he can't bring it down before Alphonse Areola gets there.

Scott Twine takes the free-kick for Burnley but passes it straight into the wall. Disappointing effort.

David de Gea has to get his fingertips to a dangerous Tomas Soucek header, which luckily for him, had no power.

At the other end Wout Weghorst fires it over the bar.

Neat footwork from Josh Brownhill on the edge of the Fleetwood box. He's clipped from behind and has a free-kick in a very good position.

Fifteen minutes plus stoppages.
