Arsenal control the tempo of the game now and should be able to play their own football.

The atmosphere is completely different now!

    Bournemouth 0-1 Fulham

Bournemouth were building up a head of steam but it's all gone a bit flat as half-time looms. Their -30 goal difference is a huge concern. Could be very costly at the end of the season.

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 1-0 Wolvespublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 1 April 2023

    Brennan Johnson (38 mins)

Nottingham Forest get the goal their performance deserves.

Danilo finds Brennan Johnson in space and he drills the ball through Jose Sa from a very tight angle.

    Lovely strike.

    Arsenal 1-0 Leeds

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

That's a huge moment for Arsenal and Jesus himself!

When Arsenal looked slightly under the kosh, that was a very cool penalty just stroking it down the middle.

That's a bit of a relief for Arsenal.

  5. 'No question for me, a definite penalty'published at 15:36 British Summer Time 1 April 2023

    Arsenal 1-0 Leeds

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

You can always tell from the way the defender reacts. Straight away Luke Ayling put his hands to his head.

To be honest, Gabriel Jesus should have done better in the initial counter attack. But once he got inside the box, he twisted and turned and won the penalty.

  6. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 1 April 2023

    Arsenal 1-0 Leeds

It was clumsy from Luke Ayling, who went to ground and made contact with Gabriel Jesus' knee. They were causing stress at 0-0, but this is a different kettle of fish now.

The Gunners can really press home their advantage now.

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Wolves

Forest are probing. First Brennan Johnson's header is plucked out of the sky by Jose Sa and now the Wolves keeper gets down low to stop Emmanuel Dennis' effort.

    Arsenal 0-0 Leeds

The Gunners with a huge chance to take the lead.

This is a soft one. Luke Ayling goes down to stop a Gabriel Jesus shot, but the Brazilian fakes. He then takes a tiny touch on the knee before dropping in an exaggerated manner. There is contact, though, from Ayling flicking his boot out a fraction. The spot-kick will stand.
