Nathan Blake
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales
Wales had the warning shot about two minutes before the goal.
To concede in the manner they did, I think they will be very disappointed.
Oh so close for Modric
Croatia 1-0 Wales
Wales are almost undone again by a long ball, as Ivan Perisic nods the ball down for Luka Modric.
His volley is sweet but flies wide of the post.
A let-off, that.

Croatia 1-0 Wales
Croatia may have some of the best midfielders on the planet but they are not afraid try a long throw into the box.
Josip Juranovic's effort comes to nothing, however, as Wales clear.

I think Danny Ward will be disappointed he hasn't saved the goal.

The goal has been coming, but that is a frustrating way for Wales to concede.
Joe Rodon, Neco Williams and Danny Ward may all feel they could have done better.

Disappointing goal to concede that, Joe Rodon won't be happy at all, gets bullied too easy. Also Neco Williams won't be happy.
A very good finish by Kramaric.
GOAL - Croatia 1-0 Wales
Andrej Kramaric
A long ball is not dealt with by Wales as Joe Rodon is nudged and Andrej Kramaric is too strong for Neco Williams.
The Hoffenheim striker wins a physical battle and then guides a shot into the bottom corner from outside the area.
Soft goal, that.
DISALLOWED GOAL

Croatia think they are ahead but Ivan Perisic's strike is disallowed for a foul.
The ball ricochets into the Welsh net after a scramble but there was a foul in the lead-up.

Modric the genius
Croatia 0-0 Wales
Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at Stadion Poljud, Split
I'm telling you nothing you don't know, but Luka Modric is some player.
His tricks, his flicks, his unbelievable passing range, he really is the total package.
He's completely bossing this game at the moment.
He's the conductor and everyone else on the pitch is part of his orchestra.
Croatia are in total control of this game, but Wales will be very happy with the current scoreline.

Croatia 0-0 Wales
Nathan Blake
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales
Harry Wilson needs to take care, he looks a bit rusty at the moment.
Trying to do things too soon, too quickly. Take that extra touch, wait for that support. Unless you are one-on-one with the defender and can go at him.

Croatia 0-0 Wales
Kieffer Moore, Harry Wilson and Aaron Ramsey link up well for a moment, but Wilson's pass for Dan James is heavy and it is a Croatian goal-kick.
Wales need better quality than that if they are to trouble the hosts.
Wales being made to work
Croatia 0-0 Wales
Borna Sosa crosses from the left but that's a decisive header from Chris Mepham.
Wales are doing okay, for the most part - but they are having to do plenty of defending.

I think we can be better in possession but Wales are holding their own at the moment.

That is a great save by Danny Ward.
Ward makes a fine save
Croatia 0-0 Wales
Croatia burst forward with intent as Mateo Kovacic tess up Andrej Kramaric.
The one-time Leicester striker fires goalwards from 20 yards and Wales' Foxes goalkeeper makes a fine save.
Post update
Croatia 0-0 Wales
Wales give possession away far too cheaply, allowing Croatia to counter.
The cross comes in from Andrej Kramaric but fortunately for Wales, the ball does not reach Ivan Perisic.

Croatia 0-0 Wales
Good battling now from Neco Williams.
It is a bit scrappy at the moment. There will be no complaints from Robert Page about that.
