Wales had the warning shot about two minutes before the goal.

To concede in the manner they did, I think they will be very disappointed.

Oh so close for Modric

Wales are almost undone again by a long ball, as Ivan Perisic nods the ball down for Luka Modric.

His volley is sweet but flies wide of the post.

A let-off, that.

Croatia may have some of the best midfielders on the planet but they are not afraid try a long throw into the box.

Josip Juranovic's effort comes to nothing, however, as Wales clear.

I think Danny Ward will be disappointed he hasn't saved the goal.

YELLOW CARD

Josip Juranovic is booked for catching Dan James - but the Harry Wilson free-kick which follows is easily gathered by Croatia keeper Dominik Livakovic.

The goal has been coming, but that is a frustrating way for Wales to concede.

Joe Rodon, Neco Williams and Danny Ward may all feel they could have done better.

His tricks, his flicks, his unbelievable passing range, he really is the total package.

He's completely bossing this game at the moment.

He's the conductor and everyone else on the pitch is part of his orchestra.

Croatia are in total control of this game, but Wales will be very happy with the current scoreline.

Harry Wilson needs to take care, he looks a bit rusty at the moment.

Trying to do things too soon, too quickly. Take that extra touch, wait for that support. Unless you are one-on-one with the defender and can go at him.

Kieffer Moore, Harry Wilson and Aaron Ramsey link up well for a moment, but Wilson's pass for Dan James is heavy and it is a Croatian goal-kick.

Wales need better quality than that if they are to trouble the hosts.

Croatia burst forward with intent as Mateo Kovacic tess up Andrej Kramaric.

The one-time Leicester striker fires goalwards from 20 yards and Wales' Foxes goalkeeper makes a fine save.

Wales give possession away far too cheaply, allowing Croatia to counter.

The cross comes in from Andrej Kramaric but fortunately for Wales, the ball does not reach Ivan Perisic.

Good battling now from Neco Williams.

It is a bit scrappy at the moment. There will be no complaints from Robert Page about that.
