Real Madrid into Copa del Rey final
Back-to-back hat-tricks for Karim Benzema.
His first came in seven minutes but this one took 30. Losing his touch...

Barcelona might be cantering away with La Liga but they’ve been taught a lesson here. Real were quietly magnificent. Accomplished, ruthless, composed… all the things that their hosts weren’t. This is one they’ll talk of for a fair old while.
Barcelona 0-4 Real Madrid (1-4 agg)
All over!
What a win for Real Madrid as they thrash Barcelona to reach the Copa del Rey final.
Barcelona 0-4 Real Madrid (1-4 agg)

There are boys running around with their hair on fire here. How we’ve not had a red card is beyond me.

Real might not be done here yet, you know…
Barcelona 0-4 Real Madrid (1-4 agg)
Where has this performance come from!? Barcelona have won the last three El Clasicos and did start this game well but it has been all Real Madrid in the second half.
Some Barcelona fans have seen enough and are heading home.

This is now a hiding. An absolute hiding. Real have been ruthless. Barca increasingly calamitous. And Karim Benzema has taken full advantage.
Karim Benzema hat-trick
There's his third!
Barcelona are so exposed to the counter - they've been done by it a couple of times and they are caught out again as Real attack three on two before the ball is slipped through by Vinicius Junior to Karim Benzema and he produces a clinical finish to wrap up a hugely impressive win.
Real Madrid are heading into the Copa del Rey final!
Barcelona 0-3 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)
Barcelona seen to have given up. That or they are more exposed now as they push players up the pitch and Marco Asensio sees a shot pushed behind by Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Barcelona 0-3 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)
Karim Benzema tries to complete his hat-trick as he is picked out behind the Barcelona defence. He shoots well over with just the goalkeeper to beat, but he was way offside anyway.
Barcelona 0-3 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)
Fifteen minutes to go. We've just had a very stop start 10 minutes or so before Ferran Torres is booked for a frustrated foul on Vinicius Junior.

For all Barca are giving the impression of having a go, Real don’t appear perturbed here. They’ve played this game before - some of them almost enough times to lay claim to its birth - and know how to douse the danger.
Barcelona 0-3 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)
Real Madrid make their first change of the night as Marco Asensio comes on for Rodrygo.
Barcelona 0-3 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)
Dani Carvajal becomes the second Real Madrid player to be booked on the night as he runs across Alejandro Balde.
Now Eder Militao is down after a clash with Thibaut Courtois. The home fans are getting frustrated, they think Real are doing all they can to disrupt play.
Barcelona 0-3 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)
Thibaut Courtois is in no hurry to take a goal kick, prompting whistles from the home fans.
Goalkeepers wasting time is the sort of antics you hate as an opposition fan, but can't get enough when it is your team's keeper doing it.
Barcelona 0-3 Real Madrid (1-3 agg)
If Real Madrid hold on for this win then it will set them up nicely for their Champions League tie with Chelsea next week.
The Blues could have Frank Lampard back in the dugout as they seem set to appoint him again.
