Udinese could finish as high as eighth if results go their way this season.

They have a brilliant home record having beaten both Inter and AC Milan in front of their own supporters at Dacia Arena this campaign.

They have lost three of their past five in the league though and fell to a 1-0 loss to Lecce last time out.

Udinese are 14th in Serie A, with no threat of relegation looming over them. Will they play party-poopers tonight?

Napoli had hoped to claim the Scudetto last weekend with six games to go, but were held to a 1-1 draw against Salernitana.

Luciano Spalletti's side were on course for the victory they needed when Mathias Olivera headed home a 62nd-minute corner.

But Boulaye Dia equalised with a left-footed drive six minutes from time.

It silenced an expectant crowd who made a cacophony of noise and set off blue smoke flares inside and outside the stadium, where thousands of fans lined the streets, when Napoli went ahead.

Even so, the team are 18 points clear at the top. It's a case of when not if.

Napoli have only ever won the Serie A title twice before, both in the days of legend Diego Maradona - who their stadium is named after these days, in 1987 and 1990.

Maradona spent seven years at Napoli after joining from Barcelona in 1984, also winning the 1987 Coppa Italia and 1989 Uefa Cup with the Italian club.

Maradona made 188 appearances for Napoli, more than he made for any other club in his career, and scored 81 goals.

The Former Argentina attacking midfielder died aged 60 in November 2022.
