  2. HALF-TIME Hearts 0-4 Rangerspublished at 15:51 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

Absolutely relentless from Rangers. Although Lisa Rodgers, Hearts' deputising keeper, was at fault for the second there was very, very little she could do about the other three.

Kirsty MacLean lasered one in from 25 yards before Brogan Hay was gifted a goal by the Jambos stopper.

Then Kirsty Howat rocketed one in before getting her second from close range.

It's an injury-depleted Hearts side, but they look a little shell-shocked as they trudge off for half-time. The bad news for them is that Rangers don't look like letting up.

  3. goal

GOAL Hearts 0-4 Rangerspublished at 42 mins

    Kirsty Howat

Another for Rangers and they do not want to stop. A corner from the right is headed across goal by Hannah Davison, and Kirsty Howat sticks a toe at it to poke home from close range.

Again, the Rangers striker races to collect the ball from the onion bag and run it back to the half way line.

    Hearts 0-3 Rangers

    Mariel Kaney
    former Hearts captain

Hearts are all ove the place defensively. They're being moved around by the quick Rangers passing, they aren't communicating well enough so no one is picking their players up.

Rangers aren't stopping, they're playing intricately. They're cutting through Hearts easily.

  5. Bad miss!published at 38 mins

    Hearts 0-3 Rangers

That absolutely should be a fourth for Rangers.

It's liquid football from Malky Thomson's side. Lizzie Arnot, Kirsty Howat, Rachel McLauchlan all involved in putting Kirsty MacLean one-on-one... but she skews her shot way wide.

That was far easier than the goal she scored!

  6. goal

GOAL Hearts 0-3 Rangerspublished at 35 mins

    Kirsty Howat

Rangers have turned up with a job to do, and boy are they doing it.

Tessel Middag set up Kirsty Howat, who took one touch out of her feet and another to send a rocket past Lisa Rodgers.

They're still not celebrating. They have one thing on their mind, and that's scoring as many goals as possible.

  7. goal

GOAL Hearts 0-2 Rangerspublished at 23 mins

    Brogan Hay

There was nothing she could do about the first, but there was plenty Lisa Rodgers could do about the second.

Brogan Hay strikes from the edge of the box and Rodgers reaches two hands up to palm it over, or catch it? Either way, it hits her palms and tamely loops into the net. She's furious with herself.

Hay barely celebrates, almost embarrassed. Dear me.

  8. FULL-TIME Motherwell 2-3 Spartanspublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

Spartans seal 7th spot in the SWPL, the best of the rest in the bottom six.

They do so thanks the goals of Rebecca Galbraith - another hat-trick for the striker who takes her tally for the week to seven.

Celtic youngster Tiree Burchill, on loan to 'Well, got a goal back for the hosts before Kayla Jardine's volley set up a tense finish.

But it wasn't enough. Regardless for the Well, they'll finish eighth.

    Kirsty MacLean

Ohhhhh wow! Take a bow Kirsty MacLean! No keeper in the world is stopping that!

Hearts haven't got a foothold in this game at all, Rangers haven't allowed them out. They steal the ball in the middle and 'Wee Iniesta', as she is nicknamed, smacks it in from 25 yards out.

It clips the post on the way in, it's a beautiful strike.

A contract extension through the week, a worldie at the weekend.

    Kayla Jardine

There's late drama at K-Park as well! Jardine volleys one in with seconds remaining, deep in stoppage time.

    Surely not, right?

  11. FULL-TIME Hibernian 0-2 Celticpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

Celtic do their job! Just! For the time being, they sit atop SWPL 1.

Hibs were unlucky, they started very strongly and pushed Celtic all the way but just a few moments of quality did for them. The first came from Kit Loferski, poking in ahead of Benni Haaland.

Then Claire O' Riordan nodded in a Jacynta free-kick, which would ultimately prove the winner.

Nor Mustafa's backheel seemed to be nothing more than a late consolation, but Pamela Tajonar had to save Celtic when Leah Tweedie bundled an effort towards goal with seconds left.

That was an almighty scare for Fran Alonso and his side.

  12. Great save!published at 90+6 mins

    Hibernian 1-2 Celtic

My goodness! We're inches away from a late equaliser!

Kayla Hinds crosses from the right, Leah Tweedie connects - but it's awkward and trundles towards goal, allowing Pamela Tajonar to desperately claw it away.

And it's literally the last act of the game!

    Nor Mustafa

Hibernian get one back in the dying seconds.

A corner isn't cleared properly by Celtic. Leah Eddie volleys at goal, it smacks the post and with a deft backheel, Nor puts it into the back of the net.

A minute left here... could we see a dramatic late equaliser?

    Hearts 0-0 Rangers

We're also underway at the Oriam between Hearts and Rangers. That will be a tight game - it ended in a draw a few weeks ago at Broadwood, remember.

You can watch that one live at the top of the page. Commentary comes from Stuart Mitchell and former Hearts captain Mariel Kaney.

    Hibernian 0-2 Celtic

Celtic attacker Kit Loferski is awarded the Player of the Match by co-commentator Rachael Boyle.

"She's had a great all round game. She's held the ball up well, brought her teammates into play, and her goal is a fantastic finish."

    Ouch!published at 15:03 British Summer Time 14 May 2023

    Motherwell 1-3 Spartans

Deep into injury time at K-Park, as Spartans striker Amelie Birse is taken off on a stretcher. Again, hopefully it's not as bad as it looks. Louise Mason is on.

    Hibernian 0-2 Celtic

Fran Alonso is also keen to use his bench. Shen Menglu is off, with another youngster coming on.

A debut for 15-year-old Lucy Barclay - a promising talent coming out of the Celtic academy, who already has five under-17 caps. The first thing she does is whack into Ellis Notley.

This attacking midfielder from Lenzie Academy turns 16 on Tuesday.

    Hibernian 0-2 Celtic

There hasn't been a great deal to tell you about in terms of action in this second-half. Celtic have, largely, kept Hibs penned in their own box but they've been unable to fashion anything clear cut.

Hibs meanwhile, will just want to make it to the end of the game with 11 players. The toll that injuries has taken on this squad is just shocking.

  19. ouch!

Both sides ring the changespublished at 71 mins

    Hibernian 0-2 Celtic

Another bad injury at Meadowbank. Siobhan Hunter has been struggling with her Achilles and she's down receiving treatment, unable to go on.

Hibs take the opportunity to make a couple of changes. Nor Mustafa, Leah Eddie and Poppy Lawson have all come on. Michaela McAlonie and Lucy Parry are also replaced.

Hibs have nine injuries at the moment, and they've picked up another couple this afternoon. A busy few weeks for the physios. That's all their subs apart from the keeper on.

Celtic have also made a couple of changes. Amy Gallacher went off injured near the start of the half, she was replaced by Maria McAneny. Now they make another three changes...

Jacynta, Natasha Flint and Shen Mengyu are off. Liv Fergusson, Taylor Otto and youngster Clare Goldie are on.
