You are always going to want to try and finish that anyway, especially with the scenes we've seen from VAR in the past. But it just goes to show the Zambia defenders aren't checking their shoulders. Fortunately the line was high enough to play Hermoso offside.
Spain 2-0 Zambia
A late flag denies Spain a third, although Jenni Hermoso was clearly offside when she got the ball on the edge of the box before slotting home.
So clear VAR don't really delay Zambia's free-kick to restart play.

Zambia make a double change. Mary Wilombe and Avell Chitundu replace Susan Banda, who was injured earlier, and Siomala Mapepa. That one might be tactical.

You're almost willing Zambia to have a good delivery, to have a good final product into the area!

The crowd are really roaring every time Zambia begin to look threatening, which they have a little more as the game has gone on.
Clearly the fans here in Auckland don’t want to see another thrashing.

I think Barbara Banda is starting to understand where the space is going to come for the Zambian side.

The only way Spain don’t score double figures here is if they stop playing and get complacent. Far too good for their opponents.

Spain 2-0 Zambia
Good skill from Zambia star Barbra Banda but then she's hurt as a Spain clearance smashes into her face. She's fine though.
Spain 2-0 Zambia
Zambia are struggling to get out. Even when they get the ball, Spain just press them and win it back.

You’re not saving that with two goalkeepers.

There are more bare patches and empty seats in the stadium than we've seen for the other three matches held here so far.
It's been a little quiet too... until that stunner from Teresa Abelleira.
