  1. Post update

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

Jamaica try to get the ball into Bunny Shaw but it bounces off the Manchester City forward.

On the break Colombia drive forward but a poor long-range pass halts the attack.

    An open start.

  2. KICK-OFF

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    A fascinating half awaits.

Jamaica made a change at the break with Kiki van Zanten replaced by Atlanta Primus.

  3. Post update

    HT: Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    Emma Smith

BBC Sport at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium

Both of these sides look like they are weighed down by the immense opportunity this game presents - a first ever Women's World Cup quarter-final.

The opportunity is there to be grabbed, although I wouldn't expect too much more expansive football as this game progresses.

  4. Post update

    HT: Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

Now, now Mike, I don't think either of these two are "playing for pens". Might just be a case of two evenly matched sides cancelling each other out in midfield.

Armchair football fan: This game is the very definition of bitty

Mike: These games of the smaller teams playing for penalties are dull. It's world cup knockouts...go for it!

  6. Post update

    HT: Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

In the office we think this match has penalties written all over it. Agree?

  8. 'We could be going the distance'

    HT: Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    Gilly Flaherty

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Ramirez is challenged by Wiltshire and Spence.

Just going off the first half it looks like this game is going the distance.

I think that it is going to be decided by one individual moment of brilliance, or even a mistake, it just takes one lapse of concentration.

Jamaica haven't had much going forward, they will be dangerous from set pieces with the height they have got.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the second half.

  9. HALF-TIME

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

A chance right at the end for Jamaica but Jody Brown's touch is too heavy and Colombian keeper Catalina Perez is quick off her line to gather the ball at the attacker's feet.

It's been tense and enthralling. Colombia were ever so slightly the better of the two.

Perez comes out to claim ahead of Brown.
  10. Post update

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    Gilly Flaherty

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Carabali thought that Bunny Shaw was running behind her still.

Perez the keeper has to talk there, let her know that there wasn't any danger.

Keeper and defender argue after a near catastrophic mix up.
  11. Post update

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    Nearly a mix-up.

With little pressure behind her Jorelyn Carabali clears the ball away from under keeper Catalina Perez's hooter (nose).

It gifts Jamaica a corner which Bunny Shaw rises highest to meet, but her effort drops off target.

  12. Post update

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

Tottenham's Drew Spence gets a needless yellow for dragging back Linda Caicedo.

Jamaica are getting overrun in midfield as Colombia continue to stamp their authority.

  13. 'Jamaica rushing when going forward'

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    Gilly Flaherty

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Jamaica have grown back into the game in the last few minutes, but they need to make sure they look after the ball going forward.

Everything is rushed, not making the right decisions. They are giving the ball straight back to Colombia.

In a game like this of few opportunities, when you do get the ball you need to look after it.

  14. INJURY TIME

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

Colombia have a corner but Chantelle Swaby easily clears it.

    Four minutes added on.

  15. Post update

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

We've had more fouls than shots. It's become a bit of a midfield battle over the last 10 minutes.

Colombian teenager Ana Guzman has a go from range but her effort is well over the bar.

  16. 'Ramirez made a meal of it'

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    Gilly Flaherty

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

I'm not to sure that is a yellow card.

Very dramatic from Ramirez, the change of direction, you see it is Swaby's finger tips if anything [that make contact].

Ramirez made a meal of that.

Ramirez lies on the floor after being struck by Swaby.
  17. YELLOW CARD

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

Chantelle Swaby of Jamaica gets the game's first yellow, catching Mayra Ramirez with a flailing arm.

The Colombian fans give an ironic cheer, they feel their stars aren't getting the rub of the green.

  18. 'Sigh of relief for Spence'

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

    Gilly Flaherty

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Drew Spence will be breathing a sigh of relief. She has no one around her and doesn't execute the header well.

Colombia should have done better there.

  19. Post update

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

Chance for Colombia as Jamaica don't clear the corner and it eventually skids to Jorelyn Carabali, but the centre-back volleys over on the turn.

  20. Post update

    Colombia 0-0 Jamaica

Colombia have a corner. Tbf, both 0-0s in the knockouts have been tense, very watchable matches.
