  1. See ya!

Next up for Colombia, England in the quarter-finals on Saturday.

The pair have faced each other once before at a World Cup with England winning 2-1 in the group stages back in 2015.

The football keeps on coming today with France and Morocco about to battle things out for the final spot in the last eight.

Follow all our coverage of that match right here.

  2. Post update

    FT: Colombia 1-0 Jamaica

Jamaica have lit up this World Cup but their journey ends here.

Their elimination means there will be no CONCACAF representation beyond the last 16 stage for the first time since the Women's World Cup's inception in 1991.

Jamaica players sit desconsolate on the bench at full time.
  3. Post update

    FT: Colombia 1-0 Jamaica

Colombia are just the second South American nation to reach the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women’s World Cup after Brazil (four times), and the first time such a side has reached this stage since Brazil in 2011.

  4. 'England game will suit Colombia'

    FT: Colombia 1-0 Jamaica

    Karen Carney

    Former England midfielder on ITV1

Colombia players celebrate in front of their fans at FT.

I hope they don't step it up against England!

I think they are better suited to the sort of game when it is that underdog mentality, sitting in and feeling like 'the whole world is against us.'

England can't underestimate them, they have shown today how tough they are to beat.

  5. 'England need to keep Caicedo and Ramirez quiet'

    FT: Colombia 1-0 Jamaica

    Gilly Flaherty

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Caicedo and Ramirez stand exhausted at full time against Jamaica.

I think England need to be very wary of Ramirez and Caicedo.

They are two top players, everything good from Colombia today went through them. England need to be wary of keeping them quiet.

In general Colombia are very physical, they like to get their foot stuck in, they aren't afraid to get their foot stuck in.

Anon: The Lionesses are going to struggle against the physicality of Colombia off the ball. They’ll know how we struggled to maintain composure against Nigeria and dial it up a notch. I hope I’m wrong…

    Spare a thought for Jamaica.

They had to crowdfund part of their World Cup costs. They eliminated Brazil and held France. They did not concede a goal for 321 minutes.

Jamaica have been a credit to themselves and to this World Cup. They deserve due respect from their own federation.

Jamaica players stand stunned after their defeat, one player is knelt down on the floor.

    FT: Colombia 1-0 Jamaica

    Gilly Flaherty

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

Usme celebrates at the corner flag after scoring.

It's lovely to see the Colombians' joy, very sad for Jamaica.

Whichever side went through today would have made history.

We said it was going to take a moment of brilliance to separate the teams today, and that's what happened.

Both had chances after that goal to score the next of the match.

But it is Colombia in the end who go through.

  11. Watch the winning moment
