Tomas Soucek might have done just enough to put him off.

Well just as West Ham was going on the attack, it is a really poor goal to concede. Somehow there is two or three West Ham defenders not getting tight enough. Bonaventura does really well, the first touch to bring it down and then the second touch to guide it into the corner.

Brilliant finish as Giacomo Bonaventura superbly controls the ball after it is headed on to him inside the box and then his second touch is to tuck a shot into the far corner.

After a poor first half we have a real game on here now!

PENALTY APPEAL

Now it is Fiorentina's fans who are appealing for a penalty as Arthur Cabral's shot inside the West Ham box is blocked but nothing is given.

That's really picked the West Ham players and fans up and now they are putting the pressure on Fiorentina.

There was a lot of time to wait between the award of the penalty and Said Benrahma actually taking it.

But the Algerian kept his cool, struck the ball cleanly and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way.

It's not a good one, Christian Kouame bending an effort from outside the box that is an easy save for Alphonse Areola.

But a shot is a shot.

The pattern of play hasn't really changed much from the first half - lots of Fiorentina possession but no chances of note for either side.

This is a really frustrating game to watch.

It is irritating to see players go down, rolling around in mock agony, when nothing has happened to them.

It is professional, it stops the game, it might help a team to win.

But it's pretty rubbish.

YELLOW CARD

A second booking for West Ham as Nayef Aguerd is shown a yellow card. Looks a bit harsh as he went for a 50-50.

I thought there was a deliberate elbow to the back of Jarrod Bowen's head there.

VAR obviously decided it wasn't a penalty but I thought Biraghi made a move towards him.

'Not enough for him to go down'
