Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
George Baldock capitalises on a mistake from James McClean and he finds Taxiarchis Fountas, but a big block from Nathan Collins keeps the Greeks out.
Nine minutes to play.

It comes from an Ireland mistake again. So many Greek attacks have happened through bad play from Ireland, giving the ball away and getting stuck.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Striker Michael Obafemi is introduced in the place of Jayson Molumby.

That could have been game, set and match.
Greece catch the visitors on the break and it falls to Giorgos Giakoumakis.
He has time to jink in the area but it is a poor finish and it's well over.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
James McClean and Tasos Bakasetas are both carded for a brief disagreement.
I'm surprised Bakasetas didn't try kicking the yellow card out of the referee's hand towards the Irish goal. It's been shoot on sight tonight from the Greek captain.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Masouras tries to repeat his earlier trick but this time his strike is closer to Dublin rather than the bottom corner.

What a strike!
Better from Ireland. Collins catches it so well. The keeper does well with strong hands behind it.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Nathan Collins has absolutely leathered one from 25 yards and it forces Odysseas Vlachodimos into a smart save.
It's a great hit but it says a lot about how the game is going when your best goal threat is currently a defender.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Former Celtic striker Giorgos Giakoumakis is coming on for Greece.
He takes the place of Vangelis Pavlidis, while Taxiarchis Fountas is on in place of Dimitris Pelkas.

Having the possession is good but we are just not getting people into areas that are going to hurt Greece.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Greece are very happy to pop the ball about and invite some Irish pressure.
There's 20 to go in Athens.

Pelkas goes into the book for a wild challenge on Jayson Molumby.

They've grown in confidence now the Greek players. They're just popping it about, making the Irish players chase.
Ireland are going to have to find something. It doesn't seem to be there at the minute. They have to find something more.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Josh Cullen plays a superb ball down the channel for Matt Doherty, who just manages to keep it in play to put a ball into the area.
However, no one is there and Greece can clear.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
It's like someone is spamming the shoot button on FIFA when Tasos Bakasetas has the ball as the Greek captain has another shot form range.
The outstretched leg of Nathan Collins is there to make the block.

The Irish players have got to show a fighting spirit again.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Stephen Kenny makes more changes.
James McClean is on for Callum O'Dowda to win his 99th cap.
Jason Knight takes the place of Will Smallbone, who, I have to say, was probably the best out of the midfield three.
Greece 2-1 Republic of Ireland
Matt Doherty and Will Smallbone combine well down the right.
Smallbone fires it back into the area and Doherty, not in his natural habitat, makes a bit of a mess of the finish and it's well wide.
Just like in the first half, the Greek goal seems to have forced the Irish into a response.

It was just so easy. You're looking at it and you don't see a major danger there and then they just thread one ball through. It's much, much too easy to get into Ireland's box from that position.
