    Borja Sainz

    Oh, hello!

A lovely move by Norwich ends with Borja Sainz scoring on his debut.

There's about 12 minutes plus stoppages left. Can the Championship club find an equaliser and force penalties?

  11. Postpublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 27 September 2023

    Chelsea 1-0 Brighton

A good save from home goalkeeper Robert Sanchez to keep his current team ahead against his former side. Pervis Estupinan floats a cross to the back post and it is met with an excellent diving header from Solly March.

The effort is full of power, but Sanchez is able to parry it away and keep it out.

  12. 'Soucek attacks it well'published at 21:18 British Summer Time 27 September 2023

    Lincoln 0-1 West Ham

    Stephen Kelly
Former Tottenham defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Benrahma misses the first man and it is whipped into a really dangerous area with lots of pace on it. Lincoln will be gutted that they don't have someone there to clear it.

Soucek just arrives and scores that header, he attacks it really well.

He hasn't even had to jump, he just heads it in low. Lincoln will be disappointed but West Ham get themselves in front.

  13. Postpublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 27 September 2023

    Newcastle 1-0 Man City

You wonder if Pep Guardiola will turn to Erling Haaland soon. Would be very unlike City to crash out of the League Cup at the first go.

  14. goal

GOAL - Fulham 2-0 Norwichpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 27 September 2023

    Alex Iwobi

First start for Fulham. First goal for Fulham.

Surely the Cottagers are heading for the last 16 after Alex Iwobi drills home the second from distance.

A lovely finish and it's a long way back for Norwich.

Nicolas Jackson thinks he has got his and Chelsea's second, but his celebrations are quickly cut short with an assistant's flag raised as Jackson is judged offside.

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:11 British Summer Time 27 September 2023

    Brentford 0-1 Arsenal

    Incredible save by Aaron Ramsdale!

He flings himself across his line to tip Yoane Wissa's attempt onto the post and it rebounds out before being hacked clear.

Lots of attention on Ramsdale after being dropped but he rescued the Gunners there.
