Wales have had the let-off but since then they have been resolute and a bit more difficult to break down.

We don't need to to go out and force it and try and be too creative at every point.

It has been OK so far.

Wales using an old adage favoured by parks football teams over the ages and 'working the line' with a series of throw-ins, inching their way further into the Turkish half.

It's stemmed the flow of Turkish pressure at least. For now.

Wales just need to make sure they don't give anything easy or sloppy away to Turkey to encourage this crowd, they are loud enough as it is.

A better spell for Wales as their defenders string together a few passes.

Chris Mepham then finds Brennan Johnson with a decent forward ball, but the attack soon breaks down.

Manager Robert Page will be slightly encouraged by that at least.

It's not much of a respite for Wales, with Turkey back in the visitors' half once again.

Zeki Celik has been a threat going forward but the Turkey right-back has been booked for bringing down Wales winger Daniel James.

Chance for Wales to swing in a cross from a good position on the left.

James takes the free-kick but wastefully floats it past the back post.

That disallowed goal is a let-off, Wales have to be careful they don't allow those splitting passes.

It is a great ball inside Williams to take out James and Williams, Mepham is going back towards his own goal, really difficult ball to deal with.

They've got away with one there Wales.

Wales are under pressure again, with Cengiz Under's cross cleared out for a corner.

Danny Ward catches the corner but then just gives possession away.

Wales need to get a grip of things here.

How things stand in Group D

That disallowed goal means that this is still the state of play in Group D after Armenia beat Latvia 2-1 earlier this evening.

Turkey beat Armenia in March so have the superior head-to-head record.

Their defence have been under pressure so far and they've caved in under Turkish pressure.

Right-back Zeki Celik plays in a low cross and Wales centre-back Chris Mepham, sliding in, puts it into his own net.

It's being checked for offside by VAR.

Yilmaz is denied again by the scrambling Welsh defence, with Chris Mepham sliding in this time.

Wales are looking a little shaky again.

Wales have pace in abundance, we need to try and take advantage of that.

Brennan Johnson latches on to a lofted pass from Ethan Ampadu and, with no support, the Wales forward tries his luck with a shot from a tight angle into the side netting.

Johnson then looks like he's in a bit of pain but is fine to continue for now.

Mepham and Rodon are going to have to step it up and perform a lot better than what we saw on Friday night.

Almost an early chance for Turkey as Neco Williams loses possession, but Joe Rodon slides in to deny Baris Alper Yilmaz.

What's gone on here then?

Joe Morrell went to ground after an off-the-ball incident with Turkey midfielder Orkan Kokcu.

Replays show there wasn't much in it, the referee has a word and it's play on.

It's Brennan Johnson who seems to be leading the attack in Kieffer Moore's absence.

Aaron Ramsey is in the number 10 role just behind him with Harry Wilson and Daniel James on each flank.

Wilson gets an early shot away but it's blocked and Turkey clear.
