Into the final 20 minutes of regulation time in Melbourne and it's Sweden looking strong again now. Have they weathered the US storm?

Well they won't have to play both of them. USA make a change and I'm surprised to see Trinity Rodman come off, on comes Lynn Williams.

Quality from Musovic. As soon as Sophia Smith lifts her head the first thing she sees is a big red human flying at her.

It's very unnerving as a striker and she makes a very good save.

Musovic has been fantastic tonight.

Big chance again! Sophia Smith is wide open at the far post as Sweden's defence gets pulled in, but her first touch is way too heavy and Zecira Musovic is able to make another big block. The offside flag was actually raised in any case but Smith's touch had to be better...

Better from Sweden as they work the ball sharply from left to right. The shooting chance is on for Filippa Angeldahl but the Manchester City player is too slow to let fly.

Everything good from USA is coming down the right. The problem for Sweden is that if they show the USA down the left you have Sophia Smith standing on the touchline.

She's 38 now, Megan Rapinoe, but still a potent force. Could she be the difference maker in this one too?

USA have all the momentum, they have so many bodies forward when they're around the box.

There's waves of attack and Sweden just feel like they can't get out.

They have so many players back they can't hold the ball up.

Lindsey Horan floats into a pocket of space again but she slices her shot wide. That was a good chance again for the number 10 who plays for Lyon.

Hats off to Zecira Musovic. That's as good a save as you're likely to see at this World Cup! Sweden now counter and put in a dangerous ball of their own but the States clear.

What a save! What a save!

An unbelievable save because she's unsighted by Rodman in front of her. She gets a strong hand to it to tip it round the post.

USA thought they had their reward with a goal.

So close! USA put together a sweeping move and only a stunning save prevents captain Lindsey Horan from opening the scoring.

She smashes in a shot from a cross from the right but somehow Zecira Musovic keeps it out.

Sweden seem to be pressing harder and higher at the start of this second half. They've already forced a few stressed backpasses and won the ball back quickly as a result.
