A free-kick bounces round the box and hits the toes of Mohamed Simakan before clipping the outside of his post. He knew nothing about that.

The chances are coming for Bayern now. Serge Gnabry nutmegs a defender down near the byeline and cuts it back for Mathys Tel, who lashes over.

Leroy Sane flashes in a cross from the right which Serge Gnabry can't get his head onto. There was an empty net there if he could.

Bayern clear a corner and Mathys Tel is left on his own to try a one-man counter-attack which goes nowhere. Maybe he needs a strike partner...?

Bayern probe to no avail and Leipzig try to send Lois Openda away with a long ball but he can't quite get away from the home defence.
