Might be speaking too soon here but Rangers' bright start has faded a bit.
The atmosphere sounds like it's taken a bit of a dip too...
Rangers 0-0 PSV Eindhoven
PSV corner gets whipped into the front post and Ibrahim Sangare gets up to win it.
His flick is way off target in the end. Should do better.

That's two or three times now Johan Bakayoko has proved a pest down the PSV right.
Borna Barisic is going to have a testing time if the Dutch side keep feeding the winger.

Sima can clearly run, he's rangy. Sometimes he doesn't gain control of it quick enough though.
He's not as direct as he could be. He's also waiting for Barisic at times to get around on the overlap.

Referee just stopped for something. Thought it was a VAR check.
It's not, think a plastic bag might've been on the pitch.
As you were.

I'm knackered just watching this. It's ferocious.

The speed of this. Honestly...
Rangers put together a superb move now but Borna Barisic's deflected cross is easy for Walter Benitez.

PSV zip it out from the back brilliantly and Noa Lang ends up coming off the left and letting fly.
Jack Butland makes a bit of a mess of it. He should gather it but he gets lucky.
Rangers 0-0 PSV Eindhoven
Sergino Dest is rapid. Absolutely rapid.
He whizzes up the left and puts in a fine ball but no-one gets on the end of it.

It was incredibly slack by PSV trying to dribble it out from the back.
Cantwell does well to hound the PSV player and win it back, but he has a few options for passes too.
A good start for Rangers.

The pace to this game...

Ooft.
From that throw, PSV lose the ball and Todd Cantwell looks in.
But he can't find a team-mate and a clearance deflects off Nicolas Raskin and goes out for a goal kick.

Cyriel Dessers gets an early applause from the home fans as he runs a ball into the channels and wins a throw.

Some noise in this place. And that’s without anything actually happening yet…

On his team selection, Rangers manager Michael Beale tells TNT Sports: "I think Cyriel [Dessers] looks sharper and sharper in every game, so he and [Abdallah] Sima give us a good presence up top and Todd [Cantwell] will join to give us that three up top.
“You don’t need any more motivation than the chance to go to the Champions League, it’s important tonight that we lay the foundations for next week.
“For the fans, it'll be fantastic. It'll be a little bit of redemption, last year we got in and it didn’t go the way we wanted, a lot of players are still here and want that redemption.
“It’s the elite competition and we're so close now, it's important we give it everything we can."
