The second half is under way now and Valerien Ismael's side look low on confidence but at least they're creating chances. They'll want to stop the rot having lost their last three games.

Within seconds of the restart Nathan Lowe has headed over from Medhi Leris' whipped cross - the ball was just behind him which made it harder to get his effort on target, but that has to go down as a chance.

We've just been informed that there will be a 10 minute delay to the second half kick-off at St Mary's.

It's due to a medical incident in the stands.

Neither keeper has had a save of note to make. Given their poor start to the season I’m sure most Wednesday fans would take a point and run if offered it right now.

• Leaders Notts County are on course to extend their advantage at the top of the table with a 1-0 advantage at Barrow.
• Struggling Sutton United are 4-0 up at home to Walsall.
• Gillingham are 1-0 in front at home to MK Dons following the midweek sacking of Neil Harris.
• Salford have made it 1-1 against Crewe in added time at the end of the first half.
• A good half for visiting sides as Wrexham, Harrogate, Grimsby and Morecambe are all ahead away from home.

• Championship leaders Leicester a goal to the good at home to Stoke thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho's strike and going 10 points clear of the chasing pack.
• Second-placed Ipswich 3-1 up at home to Preston and set to end the day eight points ahead of the Lilywhites.
• Dan James puts Leeds 1-0 up at home to Bristol City but the away side levelled just before the break.
• Hull City turn it around after falling behind early on at Millwall and they lead 2-1 at the interval.
• Lowly QPR 2-0 down at home to Blackburn Rovers and Southampton lead second-bottom Rotherham 1-0.
• Plymouth and Cardiff are 1-0 up in their home games against Swansea and Watford respectively.

Stoke have battled back in the possession stakes. The Foxes are down to 76% possession in the opening 37 minutes.

It's a bit like a training game for the hosts. You feel like Stoke would almost take the 1-0 now. However the longer it stays this way the better their chance of a counter-attack sucker-punch one supposes.
