"We took the lead and then in one action they managed to score. We had a big chance straight after the break.

"It's true that we didn't generate enough of a threat in the final third, like on many occasions. We didn't attack certain spaces.

"The difference to the PSV game was in the boxes - we missed some big chances and didn't defend well enough for their goals.

"Mistakes happen in football and they will continue to be there somehow but the difference was made in both boxes. You have to put the ball in the back of the net and defend well.

"It was a big night for us. We weren't able to take the result we wanted but we were able to learn."

On Bukayo Saka's injury: "It was an action. It was a backheel and he felt something on this specific action. He was too uncomfortable to continue."

Galatasaray are a team full of belief, their fans are unbelievable and all of their hidden fans on the opposite side of the stadium there was a sea of them - about 200 of them.

The atmosphere is unbelievable and they have got belief. But Manchester United did not perform again tonight over 90 minutes.

This was Galatasaray’s first away win in the competition since 3-2 against Schalke in the last 16 in March 2013, and the first time they had scored in a Champions League away match since November 2015 against Benfica, going seven matches in the competition on the road without scoring before tonight.

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice speaking to TNT Sports: "I feel we created enough to win the game, for sure.

"We missed some big chances. It's a great finish for their first goal and the second one we created with our own problems.

"I thought we totally dominated the match but they are not an easy opponent. We had to be on it but it was just that final bit that was lacking.

"Credit to then. They defended very well and some of their centre-backs had some outstanding performances.

"We're only 10 games or so into the season. We're just warming up and getting into our rhythm. Our focus turns back to the league and it's a massive game on Sunday."

Big few weeks for both clubs for different reasons. Arsenal have got a tough fixtures schedule, United on the otherhand must get out of their rut because they should be winning those games.

Galatasaray fans are being held back inside Old Trafford and they're celebrating like their team has been crowned champions of Europe.

Rio Ferdinand, who is pitchside for TNT Sports, is struggling to make himself heard.

"One minute I'm as high as a kite and the next I'm in despair," he says.

Paul Scholes adds: "This is a terrible result."

Lens became the first team to beat Arsenal in a European match after conceding the first goal since Eintracht Frankfurt in November 2019.

Adrien Thomasson netted his first goal of the season in all competitions for Lens.

Bukayo Saka is the only Premier League player with both five goals and five assists in all competitions this season.

Manchester United

Manchester United have lost consecutive home games in all competitions for the first time since October-November 2021, when they suffered Premier League defeats under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer against Liverpool (5-0) and Manchester City (2-0). These were Solskjaer’s last two home games as United manager.

You have a look at Manchester United and they have core players, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Victor Lindelof. You expect them to have really good games and they are not.

They had plenty of chances to win that game, there was a period in that game they could have put it to bed - they are not killing it off.

The classic example is when Rashford passed when he should have had a shot.

I don't believe the players believe in each other.

Manchester United

Bayern Munich came from behind to win 2-1 at FC Copenhagen.

They have six points from two games. Galatasaray are two points behind in second and FC Copenhagen have one point.

Manchester United are rock bottom with no points from two games.

United's next European game? Home to FC Copenhagen on 24 October.

James: Erik Ten Hag is definitely out of his depth. Any half decent manager would be able to identify problems during a game, make adjustments and at least make the team difficult to score against, even with mediocre players. This is so so poor.

Nathan: Ten Hag out. Can we get De Gea back on a free. Dalot playing to get Ten Hag out on behalf of Cristiano. Lindelof woeful. Rashford shocking. Maguire is the better option at the back.

Anon: Either a whole host of players or Ten Hag needs to go because this "standard" is unacceptable, they play like they obviously don't care so why should the fans?

Manchester United are like a wounded animal at the minute, the performance had elements of quality, but not enough control.

All over in Italy too as Inter hold on to their 1-0 lead to beat Benfica. Marcus Thuram with the goal for Inter.

The good news for Arsenal is that PSV Eindhoven grabbed a late equaliser against Sevilla so that match ends 2-2.

Jordan Teze in the 95th minute. PSV were losing 1-0 in the 86th minute so it was a dramatic ending in the Netherlands!
