Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to TNT Sports: "Today was the day to get it done. We did it in a beautiful way.

"We scored five goals against a really good side [in the first half].

"You can become really sloppy. And there were parts of the second half with different behaviours but we stayed really focused."

On taking an early lead: "They have to come out. We used the spaces really well."

On winning the group with a game to spare: "It's great because the schedule we have at the moment is crazy. We're already thinking about Wolves in 72 hours.

"We have to demand more from each other. We'll have to be well prepared for Wolves."

Thinking what Arsenal were doing a couple of years ago, watching this kind of game is really amazing. Havertz for me is the MOM. If just (just) he may start to play game after game like that, we would have some player!

"Not really [happy at coming off], I wanted to play 90 minutes. I understand his decision. Now I'm focused on Wolves, I want to do my best in that game.

"I'll never forget that day [his debut five years ago]. It was a cold day like this. I've gone through a lot on and off the pitch since then."

  17. Copenhagen claim crucial pointpublished at 22:01 Greenwich Mean Time 29 November 2023

    FT: Bayern Munich 0-0 Copenhagen

    It's all over.

What a performance from Copenhagen to pick up a point at Bayern Munich.

They are the first club to take points off Bayern at Allianz Arena in a Champions League group game since Ajax in October 2018.

Copenhagen climb up to second in Group A. Bayern have already booked their spot in the last-16.

So, Manchester United MUST beat Bayern on 12 December in their final group game AND they need Copenhagen and Galatasaray to draw in Denmark on the same night.

"I watch the Champions League a lot at home. I love football. The Champions League is special, like the Premier League. I already won the Premier League, I want to win here, but I want to win the Champions League as well."
