My Liverpool supporting son, Luca, has just created a new chant for Gakpo to the tune of no limits by two unlimited (same as Yaya Toure): Cody, Cody, Cody, Cody, Cody, Cody, Cody GAPKO!
Mike, Manchester

The referee stops play because the ball touched him and gives Villa a drop ball when they just wanted to play on.

This is LASK's sixth game against English opposition. They have never won in their previous five, and have conceded at least two goals in every match.
At least their fans seem to be having fun.

Mo Salah is up for this.
The captain was heavily involved in the second goal and he's charging at the LASK defence before losing possession as he is about to pull the trigger.
Ernest Muci (20 mins)
A howler from Villa midfielder Boubacar Kamara. He gets the ball back from Robin Olsen and plays a sideways pass witout even looking.
It goes straight to Ernest Muci, who curls a perfect shot into the top corner. Wonderful finish.

Liverpool are most likely going to challenge for the league title. They'll take some stopping in the Europa League; it's not a bad competition but they're definitely Champions League standard.
