  1. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 7-2 Whitbypublished at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Aaron Collins (77 mins)

Bristol Rovers' class and extra fitness just starting to get the better of Whitby now, as the score blows out late on.

Aaron Collins gets the seventh, firstly cushioning the ball perfectly before burying the ball beyond Shane Stephen Bland.

  2. Another for Swindonpublished at 16:45 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Swindon 2-7 Aldershot

You'd forgive Aldershot for taking their foot off the gas.

At 7-0 up they've conceded a couple against Swindon - Dan Kemp with both of them.

  4. Swindon pull goal backpublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Swindon 1-7 Aldershot

Dan Kemp has got League Two Swindon on the board.

Problem is... they've already conceded seven against their National League opponents.

It's the first time a non-league side has ever scored seven or more goals against a league team in the FA Cup.

    History has been made.

  5. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 6-2 Whitbypublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Harvey Vale (70 mins)

Feels cruel on Whitby this, but they can be proud on their long bus journey back to the north Yorkshire coast from the west country despite the scoreline. They've been very game.

Harvey Vale tricks his way into position before rattling ruthlessly to make it six.

  6. Postpublished at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Scarborough Ath 1-0 Forest Green

Just reminding you by the way, that National League North side Scarborough Athletic are still leading League Two opponents Forest Green.

About 12 to go plus stoppages.

  7. goal

GOAL: Ramsgate 2-1 Wokingpublished at 16:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Lee Martin (72 mins)

    Well, well, well.

Eighth-tier Ramsgate of the Isthmian League South East have come from behind to lead against their National League visitors thanks to Lee Martin.

A former £1m man, signed by Sir Alex Ferguson to Manchester United in 2003. 20 years and 17 clubs later, he's taken Ramsgate within 20-odd minutes of history.

  8. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 5-2 Whitbypublished at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

Alfie Doherty own goal (66 mins)

Whitby's hopes are further fried as Alfie Doherty turns into his own net.

All came from James Gibbons' cross which was seeking Aaron Collins but Doherty's unfortunate intervention looks as though it's game over for the step-seven Seasiders.

  9. goal

GOAL: Stockport 4-1 Worksoppublished at 16:34 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Kyle Wootton (71 mins)

Two in four minutes and FOUR for Kyle Wootton.

The marksman gets up to head home a curling cross from Paddy Madden.

  10. goal

GOAL: Marine 1-4 Harrogatepublished at 16:32 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Rod McDonald (71 mins)

Surely now game over as Harrogate strike for a fourth time against plucky Marine.

Rod McDonald banging home from close range.

Some game at the Lamex Stadium as Stevenage and Tranmere is 2-2.

Lewis Wing has put Reading 3-1 up against MK Dons while Crawley's Danilo Orsi has made it 2-2 at Notts County.

And National League South Yeovil are now 3-0 up against Gateshead. Rhys Murphy with his second of the game at Huish Park.

  12. goal

GOAL: Stockport 3-1 Worksoppublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Kyle Wootton (67 mins)

Hat-trick for Kyle Wootton. That might be that...

This one owes to a touch of fortunate as a clearance cannons off Wootton and into the net.

County eyeing a 12th straight win all competitions. Looks like it's back to the Northern Premier League promotion race for the Tigers.

  13. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 4-2 Whitbypublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Connor Simpson (59 mins)

    Game on?

Connor Simpson has had the Memorial Ground (well those who are sat down anyway) on their feet to pronounce his wonderful strike.

Edge of the box blockbuster for Northern League Premier side Whitby. Tastier than the town's famous fish and chips.

  14. ALDERSHOT SEVEN UP AT SWINDONpublished at 16:25 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Swindon 0-7 Aldershot

    Madness!

Jack Barham has put Aldershot SEVEN NIL up at Swindon after just 58 minutes.

Hat-trick for Barham, despair for the League Two hosts.

Swindon only made four changes from their last league match, so not as if they've put out the kids.

  15. Aldershot 6-0 up at Swindonpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Around the grounds

This is incredible. Aldershot are now hammering League Two Swindon. The National League side are now cruising 6-0 at the County Ground. How many people saw this coming? Their last away win in the FA Cup proper was 11 years ago. Remarkable stuff!

Eastleigh lead Boreham Wood 4-1 now in this National League affair.

And Jordan Shipley has put Shrewsbury 2-1 up against Colchester.

  16. goal

GOAL: Marine 1-3 Harrogatepublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Sam Folarin (53 mins)

Another gift from non-league Marine, this time a loose ball in midfield which is swiped by Sam Folarin.

He finds the net and Harrogate now have a buffer that might be enough, with 59 places between the two teams in the league pyramid.

  17. goal

GOAL: Cambridge 2-0 Bracknellpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Olukayode Osu (og) (48 mins)

A long way back for Bracknell now.

A calamitous own-goal from Olukayode Osu has doubled the Us advantage.

Magic of the cup in short supply at the Abbey.

  18. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    Right then.

Time to shine? Damage limitation? All to play for?

Whatever the story, we're back under way.

  19. 'Still hope for Bracknell'published at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 4 November 2023

    HT: Cambridge Utd 1-0 Bracknell

    Marc Webber
    BBC Final Score

The university city handing out a bit of a footballing lesson to Bracknell.

Cambridge controlling possession and could have scored more in a deluge.

That deluge led to a couple of yellow cards for late tackles that were probably helped by the slippery conditions.

But the 200 Bracknell fans aren’t down and out yet. Their last round win came in the last minutes, so there’s still hope.

Right then, half-time whistles are being blown and the goals have been flying in (we've probably mentioned that a few times today) but here's what's happening so far in some of the other games this afternoon...

Three goals in the first nine minutes put Aldershot on their way at League Two Swindon and they now have a 4-0 lead. What a half for the National League side.

Yeovil of the National League South are leading National League Gateshead 2-0.

AFC Wimbledon lead Cheltenham 2-0 while League One Bolton are also leading Solihull Moors 1-0.

Wycombe are 2-0 up at Bradford while League Two Salford have a 1-0 lead at League One Peterborough.

There are a fair few games level at 1-1 including Lincoln v Morecambe, Notts County v Crawley, Reading v MK Dons, Shrewsbury v Colchester and Stevenage v Tranmere.
