  1. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Bolton 1-0 Harrogate

Bolton remain on top and they almost have a second.

Kyle Dempsey gets down the wing and his first-time cross is deflected onto the crossbar.

From the resulting corner, Dan Nlundulu heads one straight at Jonathan Mitchell.

  2. goal

GOAL: Gillingham 2-0 Charltonpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Timothee Dieng (30 mins)

Bit of daylight in the first-half for Gillingham as Timothee Dieng slides the ball past Ashley Maynard-Brewer, following a pass by ex-Charlton man George Lapslie.

It's unravelled pretty quickly for the Addicks.

  3. Postpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Peterborough 1-0 Doncaster

A very open game at the Weston Homes Stadium (London Road to most of us).

Doncaster goalkeeper Louis Jones has to make two saves in short succession to help his side out, denying Kwame Poku and then Ricky-Jade Jones in a one-on-one.

  4. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Newport 0-0 Barnet

Fairly even stuff in South Wales.

Barnet with more of the ball, but Newport with the only shot on target so far.

Perhaps not a surprise given there are only 12 places between the sides in the leagues.

  5. goal

GOAL: Gillingham 1-0 Charltonpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Macauley Bonne (27 mins)

    IT HAD TO BE HIM.

Macauley Bonne had two spells at Charlton, one more prolific than the other it's fair to say before his exit.

Anyway, he and Jayden Clarke - not Jonny Williams as previously advertised - combine to give Gillingham the lead, with Bonne notching only his fourth of the season.

    Sutton 0-0 Horsham

Sutton are starting to impose themselves now, with Dion Pereira and Harry Beautyman (who sounds like a made up Bob Mortimer associate) both having digs.

Horsham denied a penalty, Charlie Hester-Cook's appeals falling on deaf ears.

  7. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Peterborough 1-0 Doncaster

    What a block!

Tom Nixon makes it on the line to deny Ricky-Jade Jones putting Posh two up.

  8. goal

GOAL: Maidstone 0-1 Barrowpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Ben Whitfield (20 mins)

Barrow go in front and it comes from a mix-up between goalkeeper and defence, which allowed Ben Whitfield to latch onto an Emile Acquah flick-on.

    Bluebirds bouncing.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Sutton 0-0 Horsham

You get the feeling Horsham feel they can get something out of a Sutton side who are reeling from an injury to Owar Sowunmi.

Tope Fadahunsi is on in his place.

Horsham, without creating loads, look the sharper against a League Two side propping up the whole EFL.

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Peterborough 1-0 Doncaster

Another chance for Doncaster and it's another fine save from Nicholas Bilokapic, this time from a Luke Molyneux header.

Good response from Grant McCann's men against his old club.

  11. Postpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Peterborough 1-0 Doncaster

Peterborough have the lead, but Doncaster should probably be level as Mo Faal is prevented from equalising by goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic.

  12. Around the groundspublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

No manager, no problem! Cambridge United have gotten off to a superb start against Fleetwood Town, flying into a 3-0 lead inside the first 15 minutes.

Danny Andrew netted the first, before goals from Elias Kachunga and Fejiri Okenabirhie furthered their advantage. Electric.

Oxford United have also gone in front against League Two Grimsby Town, Ruben Rodrigues with the goal.

  13. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Gillingham 0-0 Charlton

Alfie May is always a threat with his 17 goals this season already for Charlton, and he's just had his first effort of the game.

Jake Turner in the Gills goal is equal to it, foiling the former Gills trialist in the process.

  14. 'Fabulous one touch football'published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Bolton 1-0 Harrogate

    Phil Brown
Former Bolton assistant manager on BBC Radio Manchester

The manager will be absolutely delighted with his team.

Fabulous one touch football, which has just been highlighted by the goal. What a finish by the way.

  15. goal

GOAL: Bolton 1-0 Harrogatepublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Jon Dadi Bodvarsson (9 mins)

Brought into the team as one of the seven changes and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson does the business!

Will Forrester with the lay-off and the Iceland striker rifles it beyond Jonathan Mitchell, who got a hand to it but could not keep it out.

  16. Postpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Gillingham 0-0 Charlton

Bit of early running being made by Gillingham against their higher-level opponents.

Jayden Clarke got a shot away which was deflected behind, a corner came in from Scott Malone but Charlton goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer gathers the set-piece.

  17. goal

GOAL: Peterborough 1-0 Doncasterpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Harrison Burrows (3 mins)

Away we go! First goal of the day.

Peterborough defender Harrison Burrows with the honour as the League One side lead their League Two opponents.

    Pitch assisted!

Burrows crosses the ball in, it gets a firm bounce off the hard surface and beats Louis Jones in the Doncaster goal.

  18. Postpublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Bolton 0-0 Harrogate

League One leaders Bolton have made seven changes for this FA Cup tie from the 0-0 draw at Oxford on Tuesday night.

But they have put Harrogate under immediate pressure. Some of the newcomers into the team must be out to impress.

  19. Postpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 2 December 2023

    Maidstone 0-0 Barrow

Maidstone boss Geroge ElokobiImage source, Getty Images

No concerns with the pitch at Maidstone's Gallagher Stadium on this ultra-cold day around the country, it's an artificial surface.

Barrow made their trip yesterday, a long haul although many of the players are based a little further south so they've not had to all trek down from south Cumbria.
