Diaz wiggles into space and his first-time shot from a tight angle is pushed behind for a corner by Atleti keeper Jan Oblak.

The corner is punched away by Kepa, but Real can't do anything on the counter.

Atletico Madrid have only won one of their past 14 La Liga Madrid derbies but they're nearly over the line tonight.

Samuel Lina, who has been running like Pheidippides down the left this evening, wins his side a corner after his deep cross is turned behind.

The home fans give him a standing ovation for his efforts.
