Denmark have played very well. They've come out here, shown their intent and set the intensity.

For Wales, at the moment, it's about making sure they don't concede any more before half time.

Rhiannon Roberts plays a lovely channel ball for Ceri Holland to chase, but there's just too much on the pass and Lene Christensen gets there first.

Only a few minutes of the first half remaining and Wales have not yet been able to fashion an effort at goal, leaving Lene Christensen largely a spectator.

What an emphatic bit of skill from Amalie Vangsgaard and I can't believe a player of Pernille Harder's quality has missed the target from there.

That skill from Vangsgaard oozed confidence but Wales were so overloaded at the back post you were just waiting for the far corner to bulge.

That should be Pernille Harder's hat-trick!

Amalie Vangsgaard shows great skill to get a cross over from the right and Wales are again overloaded down the left flank.

Rhiannon Roberts cuts out the initial cross but the ball falls nicely for Harder, who puts the ball just wide of the post with the goal seemingly at her mercy.

I hope Gemma Evans gets a lot of minutes playing for Manchester United, she deserves that move to a huge club.

She'll definitely improve as an individual as we've seen with Sophie Ingle and Jess Fishlock.

Jess Fishlock takes one for the team there I think, stopping an attack before it threatens too much. Denmark fire the ball in from the free-kick but can't find a player.

The movement off the ball from Wales and the crispness of the pass isn't there and Denmark are eating it up.

The Danes press isn't particularly world beating but they're managing to win it back in two or three phases.

Sofie Svava forces another corner for Denmark as her cross is headed behind by the overworked Welsh defence. Nothing comes of the set piece though.

It's Rachel Rowe driving Wales on now down that same left flank. Her cross is cut out but the ball falls to Rhiannon Roberts who tries a speculative shot that is always rising over the crossbar. Encouraging though.

That was a really promising attack from Wales, most promising attack so far from Wales and you can hear the red wall getting behind them.

Ceri Holland was in the middle but Jess Fishlock was in acres of space at the edge of the box as well.

That's better from Wales as Carrie Jones attacks down the left flank before being forced back to Jess Fishlock.

Kathrine Moller Kühl swerves between two would-be Welsh tacklers but with options left and right takes on the shot that sails way above Olivia Clark's head.

This has not gone according to plan for Wales.

First there a sloppy clearance and a clumsy challenge led to Denmark's penalty, then the Danes got in all too easily once again as Bayern Munich's Pernille Harder swept in her second goal in five minutes.

Wales have looked a little overwhelmed in the opening stages of the game.

It is a long way back from here for a Wales team who have only scored more than once in one of their previous 13 matches.
