    There is a lively atmosphere at the Severnside derby, which had been long on endeavour but short on genuine chances until Perry Ng's second goal in as many games broke the deadlock.

    Cardiff have looked the more menacing side against a Bristol City team with a lengthy injury list.

    The Bluebirds won only six home league games in 2022-23 as they struggled to avoid relegation.

    Victory today would be their fifth in seven attempts this season, though there is work to do yet against a Robins side who have gained more points on the road than at home so far in this campaign.
