    Hearts 1-4 Celtic

Whenever Hearts get a lifeline, they seem to blow it.

Reo Hatate's penalty miss was quickly followed by Kyogo's goal.

Lawrence Shankland's finish was then followed by Iwata's strike.

Cannae be doing that in these games.

    Tomoki Iwata

What a way to score your first Celtic goal.

The visitors seem to have an endless flurry of shots blocked, but the ball keeps falling for them and Tomoki Iwata absolutely leathers a finish past Zander Clark via the crossbar.

    Aesthetically pleasing.

    Hearts 1-3 Celtic

Celtic work an opening really well and Alistair Johnston's cross is nicked kindly into the path of Yang.

But the substitute's effort is blocked crucially by Kye Rowles.

    Oh, that's better.

Alan Forrest has a goalbound effort blocked by the backside of the sliding Liam Scales.

Lawrence Shankland then scoops the rebound over.

If Hearts get another one back...

Hearts play about 20 passes in their own half then lump one straight to Liam Scales.

Okay, maybe I'm starting to understand the subdued atmosphere.

If you closed your eyes and someone told you this was a behind-closed-doors friendly, you'd probably believe them.

Such a subdued atmosphere. Weird considering Hearts have pulled one back.

    Fifteen, at least, to go.

All the Hearts fans that left Tynecastle probably got to the pub in time to see that goal.

Now then, with over 25 minutes to go, can they do something special?

    The drought is over.

Moments after having a strike from distance parried away by Joe Hart, Lawrence Shankland curls in a delightful finish on the edge of the box.

    His first goal since August.

You would've thought that penalty miss from Reo Hatate might've sparked life into Hearts.

If anything, they've got worse. There are more goals in this for Celtic with half an hour left.

    It had to be.

Another outstanding goal as Reo Hatate's gorgeous flick sends Luis Palma down the left.

The winger's pass is helped on by Matt O'Riley and Kyogo is there to smash in his 60th Celtic goal in 95 games.

    Not bad at all.
