The Tartan Army have arrived in Lille, but forget the France friendly, tonight is all about Norway v Spain. We’re camped in with some Scotland fans in a local bar (one of a few showing the football as well as the rugby with France playing South Africa).
There could be some party in Lille later.
Norway v Spain (19:45)
Good times, good times.
Hearing there are some more good times occurrin' out in France...
Norway v Spain (19:45)
The last time many of us had our eyes on the Ullevaal Stadion, Kenny McLean sent us all absolutely wild.
Norway v Spain (19:45)
If anyone can keep Norway's hopes alive, then it's Erling Haaland, eh?
The big man has six goals in qualifying, including two against Cyprus on Wednesday while Scotland were sweating in Spain.
And that's on missing the first two games - including against tonight's opponents.
He couldn't quite spoil the Scottish party though back in June...
Norway v Spain (19:45)
Enough of that misery from midweek eh, back to tonight's business.
This is rendezvous deux of the group for this pair. A way, way back on matchday one, Spain were 3-0 winners.
RB Leipzig's Dani Olmo opened the scoring before Joselu came off the bench to make his international debut two days before his 33rd birthday, making him the oldest debutant for La Roja since 2006.
He marked it in fine fashion, too, scoring two goals in two minutes.
Norway v Spain (19:45)
From this...
To this...
Norway v Spain (19:45)
There's just about 30 minutes until kick-off so until then, how about you remind yourself of Wednesday's antics.
Then again, if you don't want to, I understand, so just hang about here with me instead.
Norway v Spain (19:45)
I think we've earned the right to be a little greedy, eh?
Aye, we all just want to qualify, but what we really, really want tonight is a wee draw out in Norway.
Why? So A) Scotland qualify and B) Spain don't get maximum points, which gives Steve Clarke's side the best possible chance of still finishing top of Group A.
Aye, I know I'm asking for a lot...
