  8. Bowen: 'Playing for England is the ultimate'

    It's the first time that Jarrod Bowen has been called up to the England squad since September 2022. He hasn't played for England at Wembley yet and when asked has he thought about running out under the arch he said:

    "Its the ultimate. I have four caps and I'm massively grateful for them. To play at Wembley, as a little boy you dream of playing at Wembley.

    "Now I'm here I want to play at Wembley and hopefully I get the opportunity to do that."

  9. 'Euro 2028 is a real buzz'

  13. Europa League final double - May 2019

    The writing was on the wall for Hazard's last game for Chelsea - a showpiece final against rivals Arsenal before setting of to Real Madrid. He rolled in a trademark penalty to double the Blues' lead before completing the rout with an excellent fourth.

    A bittersweet game for Chelsea fans but one that ensured their lasting memory of Hazard was him holding a trophy aloft after tearing Arsenal apart.

  14. Solo strike v Arsenal - February 2017

    Francis Coquelin may never have recovered from this moment. Hazard picked up the ball in his own half, beat Laurent Koscielny, spun Coquelin with such vigour the midfielder ended up on the turf, beat Koscielny again, and looped the ball over the goalkeeper.

    A wonder goal which set the Blues on the way to a key victory in their last title-winning campaign.

  15. Ending Tottenham's title hopes - May 2016

    Ask any Chelsea fan and they will tell you that this was the goal to stop Spurs winning the Premier League rather than the one to ensure Leicester did - although it did both.

    After a chaotic and disappointing season for both Hazard and the club, the Belgian was introduced at half-time in the breathless end-of-season encounter and curled a sublime first-time shot into the top-right corner late on to end their rivals' title hopes.

  18. Hazard's life before Chelsea

    Eden Hazard joined Chelsea in the summer of 2012, after scoring 36 goals in 147 Ligue 1 games for Lille.

    Here is a timeline of his career before Stamford Bridge.

    Nov 2007: Makes first-team debut for Lille in 2-0 defeat by Nancy

    Nov 2008: Given his first cap for Belgium, aged 18, in a substitute appearance against Luxembourg

    Sept 2008: Becomes Lille's youngest-ever goalscorer with a strike against Auxerre in 3-2 win

    May 2010: Wins Young Player of the Year award for a second time, the first player to do so

    May 2011: Helps Lille win a league and cup double, as well as winning Player of the Year

    Oct 2011: Notches first international goal for Belgium

    May 2012: Wins Player of the Year again after scoring 17 league goals

  19. Hazard with Belgium

    Hazard played 128 times for Belgium between 2008 and 2022, scoring 33 times.

    He spearheaded a team that was predicted to go far, but never made it past the semi-finals of a major tournament.

  20. Hazard's difficult time at Real Madrid

    In 2019, after helping Chelsea to the Europa League title, Hazard departed for Real Madrid.

    In a miserable four years before his exit this summer, he suffered from injuries and poor form, scoring just seven times in 76 matches in all competitions.
