Mohamed Salah (39 mins)
He just loves scoring at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah is played in by Darwin Nunez. He takes one touch then places it past Mark Flekken and into the far corner.
His name is being sung by the home fans again.
Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham
Big chance for Villa as Matty Cash bursts down the right and gets behind Antonee Robinson too easily - but his shot is straight at Bernd Leno.
Liverpool 0-0 Brentford

Matip did win the ball, I don't think there's any doubt about that. I think the referee gave it because it was quite an aggressive challenge.
West Ham 1-0 Nottingham Forest
Nice effort! Nayef Aguerd's long-range effort skims just past the right post. He wasn't far away at all.
Liverpool 0-0 Brentford
Joel Matip is absolutely raging as he thinks he's won the ball cleanly in midfield but is instead punished with a yellow card.
Brighton 1-0 Sheff Utd
A fair break in play as United's Vinicius Souza gets treatment but he looks OK.
Liverpool 0-0 Brentford

The shape has been brilliant from Brentford. They're forcing Liverpool into wider positions. They need to move these Brentford defenders around.
West Ham 1-0 Nottingham Forest
Forest go long to Anthony Elanga. He wins a corner off Vladimir Coufal but West Ham deal with the delivery.
Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham
Not for the first time today there's some top defending by Ezri Konsa. This time the Villan stops Andreas Pereira racing onto a long ball. He hurts the Fulham player in the process but Pereira recovers quickly.

It was a real casual finish from Bryan Mbeumo. As he took the ball into his path, he got across Trent Alexander-Arnold and should have done better.
West Ham 1-0 Nottingham Forest
It's mellowed a bit in London. West Ham are still creating chances but Forest have started to find their shape and look a bit more organised.
Liverpool 0-0 Brentford
Yoanne Wissa's flick almost finds Christian Norgaard but it's too heavy. The Brentford skipper was probably offside anyway.
Liverpool 0-0 Brentford
Bryan Mbeumo is clean through! Trent Alexander-Arnold tries to chase him down but doesn't need to as Alisson makes a good save to block Mbeumo's chip and Alexander-Arnold can clear it off the line.
Aston Villa 1-0 Fulham
If own goals counted as goals Antonee Robinson would be Fulham's joint top scorer this season. He also put in his own net against Sheffield United.
No Fulham player has scored more than two goals in the right net.

Paul: I think personally, this is a part of the VAR issue isn't it. It's brainwashed people into these offside 'rules'. Everyone sees that Nunez goal and sort of agrees it's offside. But let's be completely honest, it isn't is it. And nobody, three or four years ago would have seen that replay and demanded offside because his big toe was an inch ahead of the defender.
Sean: Why can’t the PL use the automated technology they use in the Champions League for determining offside? Drawing lines on a screen looks so archaic, plus it wastes time.

I don't think either Brentford player can complain about the yellow cards. Diogo Jota got a real clattering.
Liverpool 0-0 Brentford
From the free-kick, Diogo Jota can't get the ball out of his feet to poke in from close range, and Ethan Pinnock scrambles it away.
Liverpool 0-0 Brentford
Christian Nørgaard's handball stops Diogo Jota breaking through the middle.
Referee Paul Tierney brings it back for a yellow card but Liverpool had managed to find Mohamed Salah by playing on and are frustration.
Jota then takes another hit from Kristoffer Ajer immediately afterwards and there's another yellow card for Brentford.
Brighton 1-0 Sheff Utd
Brighton's first chance in a while as Facundo Buonanotte closes down a clearance in the box and hooks a shot into the side-netting.
