  1. goal

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 1-2 Bournemouthpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Dominic Solanke

Two in seven minutes for the visitors and Dominic Solanke.

It is a pretty poor goal to concede from a Forest perspective to be honest. Bournemouth work a short corner and a small dinked pass is headed straight up in the air by Murillo.

It hits a few Forest players on the way down before falling to Dominic Solanke, who strokes home on the stretch.

  2. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Luton 1-0 Newcastle

Alexander Isak has the ball in the net but it's been ruled out for offside. They will check it just in case.

Shocking decision to disallow that Everton goal. Why are VAR getting involved, what do they think they saw? It's a contact sport. Everton will be fuming, huge let off for Spurs.

    Colin, Kent

Is there a more desperate sight than Everton fans and former players trying to claim that Gomes going through Emerson Royal’s standing leg wasn’t a foul?

    Nottingham Forest 1-1 Bournemouth

I was just typing that it had got a little bit scrappy since the Bournemouth equaliser, but then the visitors come alive.

A straight cross causes confusion between Neco Williams and Matt Turner and it falls for Antoine Semenyo, who has the goal at his mercy.

Williams is quickly across to block behind his effort though. Superb, goal-saving block.

  5. 'Kulusevski leaves his defender in his wake'published at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It all comes about because of Kulusevski. Really nice movement, and he just leaves his defender in his wake.

Pickford makes a decent save in the end.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Fulham 0-1 Burnley

Signs of frustration from the home crowd. Fulham have had loads of possession but they are starting to give the ball away cheaply.

More frustration as Joao Palhinha picks up his eighth yellow card of the season following a foul on Sander Berge.

Palhinha didn't even bother arguing with Rebecca Welch.

    Luton 1-0 Newcastle

Teden Mengi takes on Sven Botman but skews the shot well wide and high.

  8. 'He's gotten away with one there'published at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

    It is so soft.

Emerson has dawdled on the ball and been caught in possession. Yes if you slow it down there is contact, but for me it is soft.

He has gotten away with it, very fortunate. If it is given then no one has sympathy because he has played his way into trouble.

Frustrating for Everton who got pressure on the ball and looked to have gotten a goal back.

  9. CLOSE!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

Jordan Pickford is called into action again, parrying away Pape Matar Sarr's powerful shot from just inside the box.

  10. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Luton 1-0 Newcastle

Alfie Doughty keeps going and going and going. It's eventually picked up by Ross Barkley, space opens up for him to shoot but he takes too long and loses possession.

Barkley tries to make ammends but tugs the shirt of Bruno Guimarães and gets a yellow card.

  11. 'Placed into the top corner from 25 yards!'published at 16:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Fulham 0-1 Burnley

    Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on Final Score

Burnley have shown glimpses of what they can do in this game, with Fulham in control for the most part.

Vincent Kompany will be delighted with that goal, what quality.

Good link up play between Odobert and Foster, and the quality on the finish from Odobert, he has placed it into the top corner from 25 yards!

  12. 'I think it's a foul'published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think it is a foul and the referee didn't see it and Calvert-Lewin takes advantage of it.

  13. Postpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Fulham 0-1 Burnley

The TV cameras zoom in on Jimmy Anderson who is cheering on his beloved Burnley at Craven Cottage. Looks like he enjoyed Wilson Odobert's goal more than removing an Aussie off-stump.

  14. DISALLOWED GOAL - VAR checkpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

No goal. The referee runs over to check the pitchside monitor and it's overturned. Sean Dyche is obviously unhappy.

  15. goal

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 1-1 Bournemouthpublished at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Dominic Solanke

The lead lasts just three minutes, though.

This is a beautiful header from Dominic Solanke to be fair.

He gets in front of his marker and meets a left-wing cross. His header loops over Matt Turner and into the far corner.

Goal number 10 of the season for Solanke.

  16. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 2-1 Evertonpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Tottenham want this overturned for a foul from Andre Gomes on Emerson Royal, who wins the ball back high up the pitch with a rough tackle from behind. He slides it through to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who places it past the goalkeeper, but this will get overturned you would think...

  17. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Luton 1-0 Newcastle

Ahh, what a chance for Newcastle. It's a brilliant routine from the corner but Bruno Guimaraes slices it well wide.

  18. Postpublished at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Fulham 0-1 Burnley

Burnley score from their first shot on target. Fulham have it all to do. They've carved out several chances but cannot find a way past James Trafford who has been terrific.

This has been a performance full of character by Vincent Kompany's strugglers.

  19. goal

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Anthony Elanga

    LIFT-OFFFFF!!!

Alex Scott is a little lazy in possession and it allows Chris Wood to snap in and poke through for Anthony Elanga.

The former Manchester United man opens his body and just caresses a lovely left-footed finish into the bottom corner.

The first goal of the Nuno Espirito Santo era and the City Ground erupts.

  20. 'Everton didn't capitalise in the first half'published at 16:09 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Tottenham 2-0 Everton

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Chelsea and Fulham keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

A lot of Everton's chances were due to the fact Tottenham are trying to play out at every opportunity.

They got the ball from poor passes or poor decisions, but Everton couldn't capitalise.
