He has picked out a few neat passes around the box trying to unpick that Preston defence.

And now he's gone for goal himself from distance. The man's confident, no doubt, but Freddie Woodman holds onto the effort.

That point-blank finish from Paul Smyth to open the scoring is QPR's first effort on target.

They never looked like troubling Preston before that.
