Thanks ever so much for joining us tonight.

An enthralling game between a pair of very impressive League Two sides produced plenty of chances.

Sam Dalby gave Wrexham the lead in the first half before Paul Mullin added a second for his side against the run of play on the hour mark.

Rhys Oates pulled a goal back for the Stags shortly after Mullin's lovely effort, but they couldn't find a late equaliser.

So it's Wrexham who move into round two, which means they will feature in the next draw, which takes place tomorrow afternoon.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thanks again for following our updates tonight.

    Goodbye!

For as good as Wrexham were in the first half, they had to be resolute in the second half.

They saw it through the last 15 minutes by just pure will, on the balance of things with their first half display I think they deserved it.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson on S4C: "I'm just so proud of the boys tonight, in those conditions against a top team in Mansfield.

"Some of the chances we created in the first half, we hit the bar, had a couple of one-on-ones, but couldn't get that second goal.

"Couple of penalty appeals too, I thought the ref gave us very little on the night but that is a colossal victory for us.

"Andy Cannon was superb for us tonight, for me [the tackle on him is] a straight red, a dangerous challenge.

"The ref got a lot of things wrong on the night. It's disappointing for Andy because he's been brilliant for us."

Wrexham have managed this added time superbly. So far.

McClean runs the ball down the left wing and keeps possession so well.

Hold your breath, this could be a long few minutes for Wrexham.

Arthur Okonkwo came out a moment ago, got nowhere near the ball but fortunately took everyone else's eyes off the ball.

Palmer is penalised for a foul in the Mansfield box which gives the home side the chance to go direct again.

McLaughlin crosses into the Wrexham box, but McClean is there to deal with it.

Wrexham then lump it to safety.

Wrexham counter through Palmer and he looks to slow it down.

The visitors get men up the pitch and win a throw-in to eat up some precious seconds.

Aden Flint tried to get inside of Tom O'Connor and he's just been eased out the way.

He's gone down hoping the referee has seen something. Not a penalty for me.

Handball from Mullin in the Mansfield half, and it's lumped upfield by goalkeeper Pym.

Palner wins the initial header, and the hosts want a penalty as Flint is nudged by McClean, but nothing is given.

The home fans are getting frustrated here.

The game management has been good from Wrexham in the last few minutes.

Very little has happened, and that suits the away side.

Into the final stages now and Wrexham look happy to just keep the ball as far away from Arthur Okonkwo's goal as possible.
