There are two changes to Emma Hayes' Chelsea side that thrashed Aston Villa 6-0 last time out.

England midfielder Fran Kirby and striker Mia Fishel drop to the bench.

In comes prolific Australian striker Sam Kerr, who was rested last weekend, and Jelena Cankovic.

Lauren James is also on the bench.

These two teams are sitting in third and fourth in the WSL respectively and at the start of the season no one would have put them in the conversation for those higher places in the table.

It just goes to show how well both teams have started this season.

Katie Zelem is being bandaged up, but Asseyi is coming off.

She's going to be replaced by Emma Harries. Not good news for West Ham, a second change already.

Gemma Bonner became Liverpool's all-time record appearance-maker in the WSL era earlier this week in the Continental Cup against Manchester City.

Liverpool have the joint best defensive record in the league so far this season and she plays a big part in that.

We are half an hour in now and it is a good time to evaluate how things are going.

United are definitely on top and should really be more than one up. Toone and Galton are impressing.

But there have been signs of life from West Ham. That will be of concern to Marc Skinner.

Hobinger just brings so much energy to this Liverpool team.

What she does is when they press high she gets on the ball and has no fear, not afraid to strike the ball from the edge of the box.

A lot of Liverpool's build up play comes from the wide areas and she is always in the middle ready to receive the ball and take a shot on goal, and she has quite the shot on her too.

Away we go in this match between the teams third and fourth in the WSL.

I've been really impressed with how they have started the season. Last season they really underperformed with a really good squad.

You can't take away the fact that they have a striker in top form in Martha Thomas, who has scored six goals already, but the style of play is so much better.

They try to dominate the ball, play out from the back and create a lot of chances.

Ueki fires wide from distance. The shot wasn't testing Earps but it is further evidence of an improvement from the visitors.

Liverpool are a club that has been there and won a WSL title before and then fallen behind the rest.

They seem to have got it right eventually now, with their women's only training facility at Melwood, a far cry from their previous home that was not made specifically for their needs.

With the status of the club they are now able to attract some of the best players in the world and that only helps to make the league, which is the best in the world, even more competitive.

England manager Sarina Wiegman is at Brisbane Road today watching the action between Tottenham and Liverpool.

Who will she have her eye on? Grace Clinton? Ash Neville? Perhaps even Liverpool youngster Mia Enderby?

Hawa Cissoko does well to deny Parris as she looks to meet Toone's cross.
