as the basement boys were the only struggling side to avoid defeat with a 1-1
draw at Bristol Rovers.
Reading are only above the Robins on goal difference after a
3-1 home loss to Barnsley while Carlisle are two points ahead after their 3-0
reverse at Blackpool while Fleetwood are fourth-bottom, three off the foot of
the table, after a 3-0 drubbing at Northampton
Exeter’s winless run reached 11 matches and they have taken
two points and scored just two goals in that run after a 1-0 defeat at home to Port
Vale, who ended a winless streak of 11 games themselves.
Burton’s 2-1 loss to Stevenage saw them slip below Vale and
Cambridge who snatched a 2-2 draw at Charlton in the dying seconds through
