"He [Sarmiento] has caught that perfectly, but it's a great save. He's just got his fingertips to it and that's going in the top corner.

Brilliant stop from Stoke keeper Jack Bonham!

Jeremy Sarmiento cuts in from the left towards the corner of the 18-yard biox and whips a superb drive towards the top far corner.

Bonham is there at full-stretch to turn it around for a corner.

And then punches the set-piece clear.

Some loose passing at the back gifts Jordan Thompson the ball in the home 18-yard box.

But Ryan Mmaee is unable to take advantage, but West Brom look ragged at the back.

Stoke are up for this now and win the first corner of the game.

Dan Johnson strolls over to the ball like a man, well on a Sunday stroll.

But after all that, it's a poor set-piece and easily hoofed clear.

There's a few grunts and groans already in the stands as another Baggies move breaks down against the Stoke wall.

"It wasn't a shot, more of a cross and he's caught Alex Palmer out. He wasn't in position and he wasn't expecting it, but he shouldn't be being beaten from where he was.

"Now Albion really have to up their game. It was the first time Stoke had ventured forwards."

Darnell Furlong seeing a lot of the ball down the West Brom right early on and he connects with Diangana.

But again the Stoke defensive wall looks firm.

Diangana then lofts a great cross to the back post to give Jeremy Sarmiento a glimpse of goal, but off balance, he blazes over.
