  1. Goodbye from us

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Wales dejected

That's it from us after what has been a damaging day for Wales in Armenia.

A 1-1 draw means Wales' fate is now in the hands of Latvia and Armenia, who are Croatia's two remaining opponents in this group.

Rob Page's side now need one of those two nations to deny Croatia victory.

There is also the small matter of Wales needing to beat group leaders Turkey on Tuesday night.

It's not all over for Wales, but it's fair to say the play-offs are now looming a little larger.

Thanks for following along with us and please join us from the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday evening as Wales' qualification campaign comes to a close.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  2. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

Wales boss Rob Page to BBC Radio Wales: "We're disappointed, of course, we wanted to get the win.

"We didn't get off to the best start, we knew they were going to throw everything at us.

"To go a goal behind after four minutes was really disappointing, but I thought then we took control of the game and grew into the first half. Scored at the perfect time, but the break came at a bad time.

"We knew we had the changes in place on the hour mark and we made one a bit earlier, but we couldn't quite get Brennan (Johnson) in the positions where we knew he causes problems.

"The positives are now, we want to finish the camp on a high. We've got to pick ourselves up and finish with a performance on Tuesday.

"We look forward to finishing with momentum and if it's a play-off in March, then we take that."

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Danny Gabbidon

Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

It's taken us a while to get going in this group.

To get to this point to having it in our hands, we've done really well, but then you're expecting the same level of performance that we saw against Croatia this afternoon, and we didn't get that.

    The performance wasn't there today.

  4. A devastating blow?

Joe Rodon challenges as Nair Tyknizyan heads into his own net

Wales' hopes of qualifying automatically for Euro 2024 suffered a potentially devastating blow as they could only draw with Armenia in Yerevan.

Read the match report from Yerevan: Wales dealt big Euros blow by drawing with Armenia

  5. 'We gave it everything'

    Armenia 1-1 Wales

Wales midfielder Ethan Ampadu on BBC Radio Wales: “The home game was down to us not playing great.

“We tried to bounce back and I thought we reacted well to going 1-0 down.

    “We gave it everything.

“We showed a reaction and tried to dominate the game, but we couldn’t put the ball in the net.

“We are always good at bouncing back and on Tuesday we need to control what we can control and get the result we need and maybe we will get a little bit of luck along the way.”

  6. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Nathan Blake

Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

Overall, it was a below par performance from Wales today.

    The players did look dejected.

  7. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Nathan Blake

Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

I couldn't look at Rob Page and say he did anything wrong.

It's almost like the occasion got the better of them tonight, they looked kind of lethargic.

  8. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Danny Gabbidon

Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

The Croatia game, I thought Rob Page got it exactly right.

The game today was a lot different.

It's not just on the manager, you have to look at the players a little bit as well, we didn't play to the levels that we know we're capable of.

  9. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Nathan Blake

Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

Sometimes the occasion can get the better of you.

So often, Gareth Bale would step up with something special, or Aaron Ramsey.

They just didn't have that here. All in all, you look at that performance and it was below par for Wales, especially after what we witnessed against Croatia.

  10. Davies hoping for help from elsewhere

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

Ben Davies competes for possession with Vahan Bichakchyan

Wales captain Ben Davies on S4C: "After conceding an early goal it was always going to be hard.

"It wasn't a game where either side had a lot of chances or quality.

"We know what we have to do against Turkey and hopefully Latvia or Armenia can help us out (against Croatia)."

  11. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Kath Morgan

Former Wales captain on BBC Radio Cymru

They (Armenia) had better chances than we did. Too many individuals didn't perform well enough.

As a team, we just looked too slow and there was no tempo.

When you're under pressure, these factors go against you, it doesn't matter who you're playing.

Armenia were the better team today.

  12. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Nathan Blake

Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Wales

You have to give Armenia a lot of credit, they looked the better of the two teams at times.

  13. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Danny Gabbidon

Former Wales defender on BBC Radio Wales

Both teams going into the game knew they needed to win it. Armenia probably looked the more likely.

We just lacked quality tonight. Some of the decision making and how poor we were in possession.

Whether it's the pressure of the game, I don't know.

    The performance wasn't there.

I'm going to be a Latvia fan now for the next few hours!

  14. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

    Iwan Roberts

Former Wales striker on BBC Radio Cymru

I don't think we deserved to win the game to be honest.

    We started so slowly.

They got the early goal and we were lucky to go into the break after an own goal.

    We didn't create enough.

  15. Post update

    FT: Armenia 1-1 Wales

A reminder that Croatia visit Latvia at 17:00 GMT.

All eyes on that one for Wales.

In the meantime, we will bring you some reaction from Armenia.

  16. FULL-TIME

    Armenia 1-1 Wales

    That's it.

    A draw neither side wanted.

Armenia are out, Wales' fate is no longer in their own hands.

  17. Post update

    Armenia 1-1 Wales

Fierce effort from Eduard Spertsyan but it's over.

  18. CLOSE!

    Armenia 1-1 Wales

Edgar Sevikykn fires wide with a really decent chance!

Armenia and Wales want a winner.

  19. Post update

    Armenia 1-1 Wales

Joe Rodon gives away a silly foul.

Time is not on Wales' side.

  20. Post update

    Armenia 1-1 Wales

Three minutes left for Wales to keep their qualification hopes in their own hands.
