  1. Post update

    AFC Wimbledon 5-0 Ramsgate

Ramsgate defender Joe Ellul slides in to deny Ali Al-Hamadi a clear sight of goal at the far post as AFC WImbledon push for more goals. He's a warrior.

  2. CLOSE!

    AFC Wimbledon 5-0 Ramsgate

Joe Taylor gets the ball in the Dons box, for once, with his back to goal, he works some room and fires a low cross into the middle but Mike West's right-footed attempt is charged down by a defender.

Another good opportunity goes begging for the plucky visitors. How they would love to give their fans something to celebrate.

  3. Post update

    AFC Wimbledon 5-0 Ramsgate

Omar Bugiel is the only attacker not to find the net so far and you can see he is fully aware of that fact.

He's fired across the face of goal with his left-foot and now dragged an effort wide of the other post. He has a face like thunder, despite his side being five-up.

  4. 'I don't think Wimbledon are a club that will declare here'

    AFC Wimbledon 5-0 Ramsgate

    Matt Gerrard

    BBC Radio Kent

I don't understand why they are playing that way.

Trying to play triangles in their own penalty area.

They're just giving them easy chances.

I don't think Wimbledon are a club that will declare here.

  5. GOAL: AFC Wimbledon 5-0 Ramsgate

    Ali Al-Hamadi

Ramsgate keeper Tom Hadler looks dejected

Ramsgate again punished for trying to play out from the back, Joe Ellul's pass is slightly underhit and the ball is at the feet of Ali Al-Hamadi who smashed it goalward and inside the post via the fingertips of Tom Hadler's left hand.

Eleven goals for the Iraqi this season make him the Dons' top scorer - seven of those have come in Wimbledon's past six games.

  6. 'They don't want to concede too many more goals.'

    AFC Wimbledon 4-0 Ramsgate

    Terry Gibson

    Ex-Wimbledon forward on ITV 4

    Four different goalscorers.

Any sniff that Ramsgate had, surely gone now you would fancy.

It will be tough for any Ramsgate players to enjoy this anymore, it's troublesome for them.

They don't want to concede too many more goals to knock their confidence for their league campaign.

  7. Can Ramsgate get back in this?

    AFC Wimbledon 4-0 Ramsgate

Ex-Wimbledon winger Jobi McAnuff told ITV4:

It's about trying to get a moment, get a goal really early to give themselves a chance of getting back in this.

    Ex-England forward Eni Aluko added:

I think Ramsgate should go for it. Try and keep it tight for the first 15 minutes then go for it.

Worth pointing out that these comments were made moments before that fourth goal went in.

  8. GOAL: AFC Wimbledon 4-0 Ramsgate

    Connor Lemonheigh-Evans

AFC Wimbledon players celebrate their fourth goal against Ramsgate

AFC Wimbledon have no mercy. Connor Lemonheigh-Evans spins on the edge of the box to take advantage of a slip and rifles a low shot across goal which Tom Hadler gets his fingertips to but can't prevent finding the bottom corner.

The 1,500 Ramsgate fans immediately chant their team's name, despite their dreams ending in front of them.

  9. GREAT SAVE!

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

Corner within 30 seconds of the restart for the Dons and Tom Hadler is called on to tip a rasping angled drive from outside the box behind for another.

Eight of the 10 Dons outfield players have had shots tonight - a stat which sums the game up somewhat.

  10. Back under way

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

It must be said the first period was about as convincing a performance from a league team against a non-league team as you're likely to see.

Bar the first two minutes, the Dons have looked eager to showcase their class and that's testament to how Johnnie Jackson has prepared them for this game.

He played alongside Lee Martin at Charlton more than a decade ago. Makes you think there's no way he wanted to even entertain the idea of being upset by him tonight...

The heavens have opened at Plough Lane, but will the floodgates? 45 minutes for Ramsgate to... survive? Find a goal? Let's see...

  11. 'If that chance five minutes before half-time went in...'

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

    Eni Aluko

Former England forward on ITV 4

It's about being smart, first few minutes, he's over-deliberating playing around with it, then gets punished.

If that chance five minutes before half-time went in, that would have been massive.

Second half they have got to do better to stay in this game.

  12. Ramsgate took 'risks not worth taking'

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

    Jobi McAnuff

    Ex-Wimbledon winger on ITV 4

We spoke about how important that first 10-15 minutes is.

Al-Hamadi's energy is so good, he's so good at pressing, that risk is not worth taking in that area, they won't get away with taking those risks against a team of Wimbledon's level.

  13. Second round highlights

Video caption: National League Chesterfield knock out League One Leyton Orient

Also on Sunday National League Chesterfield, who won 2-0 at AFC Wimbledon last season, remember, overcame League One Leyton Orient to reach round three once again.

Video caption: FA Cup second round highlights: Eastleigh into third round with late goal against Reading

The fairytale FA Cup run might be nearing an end for Ramsgate, but for teams higher-up the non league pyramid it might only just be starting.

Relive the action as National League Eastleigh overcame League One Reading on Sunday.

  15. 'Wimbledon have been very professional'

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

    Matt Davison

    BBC Radio Kent

Fair play to Wimbledon, they have been very professional.

    Al-Hamadi has been almost unplayable.

  16. HALF-TIME

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

Josh Neufville celebrates scoring AFC Wimbledon's third goal against Ramsgate

AFC Wimbledon have one foot, maybe a foot and a half, in the third round.

The 85 places between these two sides have been apparent for much of the first 45 minutes.

Dons skipper Jake Reeves blasted the early opener, the lively Ali Al-Hamadi nodded in the second and Josh Neufville slammed the third as the full-time pros ran their eighth-tier visitors pretty ragged.

Tom Hadler in the Ramsgate goal has earned his half-time orange slice.

  17. GREAT SAVE!

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

TJ Jadama is denied by Alex Bass again as Lee Martin's free-kick drops to him at the far post and his left-foot volley towards the bottom corner is saved down low by the Dons keeper.

  18. 'A difference in class between these sides'

    AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

    Matt Gerrard

    BBC Radio Kent

Surely game over now. 3-0 is probably the right score just before half-time.

There has been a difference in class between these sides.

Just after Ramsgate have their best chance of the game.

Al-Hamadi is a real threat, once again Hadler got a hand on it but could not keep it out.

  19. GOAL: AFC Wimbledon 3-0 Ramsgate

    Josh Neufville

Down the other end and Ali Al-Hamadi's fierce near-post effort is well saved by Tom Hadler but Josh Neufville is on hand to slam home the rebound through a crowd on the line to put the Dons 3-0 up.

It could have been oh so different had TJ Jadama or Lee Martin converted seconds before at the other end.

  20. CLOSE!

    AFC Wimbledon 2-0 Ramsgate

Is that THE chance for Ramsgate?

TJ Jadama bustles his way to meet a left-wing cross but Dons keeper Alex Bass stops it with a trailing arm and Lee Martin blazes the rebound over the bar.

Ramsgate's Lee Martin shoots over the bar
