Killie committed to the ball and forced Celtic into 50/50 balls at best.
They then went and won it back again and again.
The victory is also Killie's first in the league over Celtic since September 2018, ending a 13-game winless run.
That win was under Steve Clarke. Killie fans will certainly be seeing similarities with this team.
Kilmarnock have won a league game after trailing at half-time for the first time since 27th August 2022 against Motherwell.
Not even this pouring Ayrshire rain will wipe the smile off of Derek McInnes' face.
He's on the pitch giving every one of his players a bear hug.

He heads the ball out of play for a Killie throw, killing momentum for the away side.
Kilmarnock 2-1 Celtic
Three of the eight added minutes have been played, but we'll probably play more than that now as Rory McKenzie replaces Kyle Vassell.
Kilmarnock 2-1 Celtic
Ooft, that's a sore one.
Stuart Findlay and Yang fully commit to a ball and the latter takes one to the face from the Killie defender.
Looks entirely accidental.

It's never over until it's over, but you just can't see a Celtic comeback happening given the second-half performance.
