    It was all going off in that first half at Hillsborough.

    Cardiff had two penalties saved by Sheffield Wednesday keeper Cameron Dawson in the space of seven minutes.

    They could have gone 2-0 up and ended the half 3-0 down, having also conceded an own goal.

    Swansea have clearly reverted to their old passing style in Luke Williams' first game in charge, with as much as 80% possession during that first half.

    But the 11 changes to the Swans' line-up and the fact they have had just one training session under Williams have shown as the home side have created very few chances.

    All a bit sedate so far.

    The Middlesbrough v Aston Villa game has the tempo and feel of a 1999 Serie A game that Channel 4 used to show on a Sunday afternoon. I wish we’d move the ball quicker.

    What a finish!

    A cross from the left deflects out to Liam Palmer on the edge of the box. He chests the ball under control and then volleys into the bottom corner.

    He wheels off in celebration and ends up hugging a coach in the dugout too.

    Sheffield Wednesday are in complete control, but 3-0 feels a bit harsh on Cardiff.

    We're still waiting to see it with Mykhailo Mudryk. I think there's a lot more to come and he's going to be a slow burner.

    He doesn't make the fee, he went for a lot of money. He hasn't played a lot of first team football and he's come into a big club that are underperforming.

    Leon Bailey is booked after he argues with the linesman as he feels aggreived that a throw was awarded to Middlesbrough, rather than a free-kick to Villa for a foul.

  19. Wednesday double lead against Cardiff

    Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Cardiff City

    Michael Ihiekwe has doubled Sheffield Wednesday's advantage against Cardiff, heading home a corner.

    It looked like Jak Alnwick was going to collect in the Cardiff goal but Ihiekwe beats him to the cross and heads home.

    It may hit Romaine Sawyers on the way in so it may go down as an own goal.
