  1. See you soon!

    #bbcefl

The first weekend of February football is in the books for League One and League Two. Join us for more next weekend!

There's plenty more action to keep you going this Saturday, however, with Sheffield United kicking off right now against Aston Villa in the Premier League. Follow that one here.

  2. Pompey stretch lead in League One

    #bbcefl

Portsmouth had been under a little pressure going into this afternoon, but extended their lead at the top to four points after brushing aside Northampton 4-1.

Derby were another big winner as their narrow win at Charlton leapfrogged them into the second automatic promotion spot.

The Rams move above Bolton, who were held 1-1 by Barnsley, and Peterborough, who were beaten by the odd goal in five by Wigan. he Trotters do have games in hand, mind you.

And Stevenage forced their way into the play-off places thanks to their late win over Blackpool.

  3. Carlisle sink to the bottom

    #bbcefl

It was a red letter day for Charlie Adam's Fleetwood, who moved off the bottom with a handsome 3-0 win over Port Vale - who dropped within two points of the relegation places.

The result sent Carlisle to the bottom after they slipped to an 18th defeat of the season, beaten by Leyton Orient.

The only other side to pick up a point in the bottom four was Reading, who enjoyed some rare cheer with a 1-1 lunchtime draw at Oxford to go within two points of safety.

  4. Stockport and Wrexham drop points at top of League Two

    #bbcefl

Stockport dropped points with a draw against Harrogate at Edgeley Park, but the League Two leaders retain a four-point gap to those below them.

Mansfield's victory at home to Notts County means they have moved up from third place and into second.

Barrow's win over MK Dons sees them move into the top three, with Wrexham dropping two places to fourth after losing 3-1 at Salford.

  5. Frustration for Sutton and Forest Green in League Two

    #bbcefl

Second-bottom Sutton United conceded a heartbreaking 96th-minute equaliser at home to Doncaster Rovers, which means the difference between the two sides remains seven points.

Forest Green remain at the foot of the table, but will also be disappointed not to have won.

They were two goals up at Colchester, but let three in during a crazy nine-minute spell, although the game ended with Steve Cotterill's side finding a levelling goal of their own.

The Gloucestershire side remain nine points adrift of safety.

  6. 'One of the best games I've seen all season'

    FT: Bolton 1-1 Barnsley

    Charlie Slater

BBC Final Score at Toughsheet Community Stadium

One of the best games I've seen all season and I know it was only 1-1, but it was end to end from the off and both sides had the sort of chances players dream of the night before a game.

This was a rematch of last season's play-off semi-final and it was played at a play-off pace - perhaps they'll do it again in May?

  7. 'Doncaster got away with one'

    FT: Sutton 1-1 Doncaster

    Tom Biltcliffe

    BBC Radio Sheffield

Grant McCann's side have got away with one big time in dramatic fashion.

Talisman Joe Ironside was taken out by the home goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis in the 96th minute.

He kept his nerve to equalise from the spot. That is his 16th goal of a productive campaign.

It was the visitors' only shot on target on a really lacklustre afternoon against their relegation rivals.

  8. League Two full-time headlines

    #bbcefl

    • Leaders Stockport are held at home by Harrogate and lead second-placed Mansfield, who beat Notts County 1-0, by four points.
    • Karl Robinson's unbeaten start to his Salford tenure continues with a home win over high-flying Wrexham.
    • Barrow's narrow win over MK Dons lifts them into third position.
    • Forest Green threw away a two-goal lead against Colchester, but then came from behind to secure a point from a 3-3 draw.
    • Doncaster scored a late leveller to draw with Sutton in another relegation six-pointer.
    • Gerard Garner's double gave Morecambe a 2-1 win at Crawley, while the points were shared between Gillingham and Walsall.
    • Newport came from behind to beat Swindon 2-1 in Saturday's early kick-off.
    • There were no goals in the games between Accrington and Grimsby, Bradford and Wimbledon, and Tranmere and Crewe.
  9. League One full-time headlines

    #bbcefl

    • Portsmouth thrashed Northampton 4-1 despite playing 40 minutes with 10 men at Fratton Park and have a four-point lead at the top.
    • Bolton were held 1-1 by fellow promotion chasers Barnsley, while Peterborough slipped to a 3-2 defeat by 10-man Wigan.
    • Derby are up to second after edging past Charlton.
    • A late Jake Forster-Caskey strike sealed victory for Stevenage over Blackpool.
    • There was a huge win for bottom side Fleetwood at home to Port Vale. Defeats for Carlisle (away at Leyton Orient) and Cheltenham (home to Wycombe) keep them in trouble.
    • An own goal gave Reading a point from their lunchtime kick-off at Oxford.
    • Lyle Taylor's double secured Cambridge a win at Shrewsbury, and 10-man Lincoln held on to secure victory at Burton, while Bristol Rovers beat Exeter 1-0 for their second win in a row.
  10. Post update

And breathe! What an eventful finish!

We'll round up the day's action in League One and League Two, and what it all means for the tables, very shortly.

  11. FULL-TIME

    Stevenage 1-0 Blackpool

A game with plenty of chances looked destined to end goalless.

Then up pops Jake Forster-Caskey to grab an 85th-minute winner.

  12. FULL-TIME

    Peterborough 2-3 Wigan

A bonkers finish as Posh score twice in stoppage-time through Josh Knight and Ricky-Jade Jones.

But it was too little, too late as Wigan Athletic take all three points back to Lancashire thanks to Thelo Aasgaard's double and Josh Magennis.

  13. 'A neat finish'

    FT: Mansfield 1-0 Notts County

    Andy White

Ex-Mansfield striker on BBC Radio Nottingham

The Mansfield goal was such a neat finish.

A player [Davis Keillor-Dunn] with that calibre you simply cannot give that much time on the ball.

I was up before it even hit the back of the net!

  14. FULL-TIME

    Salford 3-1 Wrexham

Early goals from Theo Vassell and Elliot Watt paid dividends for Salford City, who held off a comeback from a lively Wrexham side.

Phil Parkinson's team missed chances through Paul Mullin, while Steven Fletcher had the ball in the net, before the offside flag was raised.

The result means Wrexham drop from second to fourth in the table, due to wins for Barrow and Mansfield.

  15. GOAL: Peterborough 2-3 Wigan

    Ricky-Jade Jones (90+5 mins)

    Surely not?

Posh pull another back in stoppage time as Ricky-Jade Jones pokes home from close range after a scramble.

  16. GOAL: Stevenage 1-0 Blackpool

    Jake Forster-Caskey (85 mins)

    A late winner?

Luther's long throw is flicked on by Carl Piergianni and falls to Roberts.

He sets up Jake Forster-Caskey on the edge of the box whose effort takes two deflections past the Blackpool keeper Dan Grimshaw.

  17. 'Blackpool haven't created'

    Stevenage 1-0 Blackpool

    Mick Payne

England C goalkeeping coach on BBC Radio Lancashire

We've been fearing this for the last 10 minutes.

Blackpool have been dragged into how Stevenage have played the game.

Let's be honest, we haven't created anything in the second half.

  18. FULL-TIME

    Mansfield 1-0 Notts County

Delight for Nigel Clough's Mansfield side who look set to end the day in second place in the League Two table.

Davis Keillor-Dunn was scintillating throughout. He curled the ball into the roof of the net for the only goal, as well as being a constant menace to Notts County's defence through the creation of a number of chances.

The visitors hit both the post and bar, but ultimately failed to capitalise on a series of great opportunities.

They do however remain in seventh in the table, just inside the play-off spots.

  19. FULL-TIME

    Sutton 1-1 Doncaster

Late drama at Gander Green Lane.

Craig Eastmond's second-half goal looked like it was enough for the hosts to secure a vital three points.

But Joe Ironside's penalty means Doncaster retain a buffer zone of seven points between them, Sutton and the relegation zone.

  20. FULL-TIME

    Bolton 1-1 Barnsley

    Phew, and breathe!

A cracking match between two fine sides ends all square.

Devante Cole had given the visitors an early lead before Zac Ashworth levelled midway through the second half.

Probably a game neither deserved to lose.
